Not sure if either of those things is going to happen. While I would be very surprised if Tennessee wins, I wouldn't be shocked if the Chargers win. It's not that I think the Chargers are that good of a team. It's more a product of Pittsburgh's completely inept offense. I am pulling for the Steelers this weekend, but not sure it's going to happen.

Every game I've seen Flacco play, he does nothing but rely off of a dominant running game, and a defense that scores 80% of their points. What was his numbers against Miami? 9-23 for a little over 100 or something along those lines? He completes 9 balls and he is god like? Give me a break, and the reference to this team being compared to the 2000 team needs to stop. It's not even close. Baltimore is going to get beat by a relentless Tennessee defense that will make Flacco look like boy that he is.

The way Baltimore handles things with Flacco, is in a way the same Cowher dealt with Roethlisberger. The only difference is, is that Ben went 13-0 as a starter, and he dealt with something far more gut wrenching for a rookie and that was win games when he had to, and put the game on his back.

It'll be low scoring, but I think Tennessee wins in every category with dominance.

I don't think Flacco is "overrated" at all, because I don't hear anyone saying he's all that great. He is what he is...a rookie QB who has some potential. That said, his numbers this season weren't anything great. In the playoffs, who knows what you're going to get out of a rookie QB. In my opinion, neither QB will be much of a factor in this game because neither guy is that good. I suspect that Baltimore's defense will make a play or three (like they always do), and that will be the difference in this game. While Tennessee's defense is good, they are simply not as dominant and stifling as the Ravens' defense is. Tennessee's great strength is their running game and I just don't think they can run against Baltimore. If they can't do the only thing they're capable of doing on offense, they simply can't win the game!

Baltimore's run D is stout, and I don't see Tennessee getting large amounts of gains on them. They must stick to their ground game, and that threat alone will force Baltimore to put more men in the box, and with that logic, I think Tennessee can exploit that through the air.. and Baltimore DOES have some holes in the passing game that can be exploited and WAS exploited in numerous games this year, even though they are among the best in takeaways. I think when it comes down to, the story will be who can get it done first or last regarding the two offenses, and I like the matchup of Tennessee's O Vs Baltimores D rather than Baltimores O VS Tennessee's D in crunch time.

Is it me or don't you all just want to stuff your face in her frontal cleavage?

Every time I come here to this MR place, I get all excited; Gunbot's avatars, Voyagers dancing singing Euro with the tight little black dress gets me too. And mow, this chick with the soft tanned rack.

You can see this chic in The Fast and The Furious and the new this June Fast and Furious 4 with Vin Diesel joining the original gang including Michelle Rodriguez!

She also starred as Lucy Diamond in the awesome Lezbo movie D.E.B.S!

I am guaranteeing a Steelers beatdown. Winter storm coming through today, and accumulation is set up for 6 inches of snow by Saturday, and 8 inches by Sunday. 18 Degrees and frigid temps by kickoff. 65,000 crazy, drunk ass Stiller fans in rare form, and I'll be one of them. Maybe after SD anything is fare game, but the SD fairy tale is going to be ending very, very soon.

I will take crow if the upset comes, as I took it before plenty of times, and I'm no sore loser and always take it like a man. I'm sick of debating. Sunday needs to hurry the hell up

I have watched alot of steeler games this year. They have squeeked out wins. They have ZERO offensive line, Poor Big Ben has been pumeled all year long. How they have won with no offensive line is beyond me. Surprised the guy isn't dead from the sacks he has taken this year.
Defense wins games but you gotta score sometime. Good Luck, if it wasn't for the cold weather factor we would beat you guys 48 to 17 ! :D

It will come down to turnovers if it does snow. It may be a 12 to 10 game or for that matter 6 to 3.

No way the Steelers lose to an 8-8 team at home. Next week will be a great AFC Championship game no matter who wins the Ravens-Titans game.

Weather means NOITHING in the NFL> All those guys from all those teams played in that shit at sometime. They are pros. Hell Rivers played at NCSU and Ben at Miami of Ohio. Is there a huge difference? Fuck Favre played at Southern Miss and he was an timer in the powder. Means shit.

San Diego is so much better than their 9-8 record...they could easily be 13-4 right now.

SD wins on the road in a shocker(not to me), 23- 14. I fucking hate Pittsburgh. Proles is the key again, and also Gates. BOTH score TD's and Rivers goes 15-22 with 2 td passes.

This will be my last vent until Sunday night. Win or Lose.

The offense really didn't have the chance to gel as unit all season long, and with good reason. Look, injuries are a part of this game, and if you don't have valuable depth in your backups then you have nothing. The Steelers have had the best depth in the league for years, and have won with their fill guys making valuable starts.

The offensive line has been awful. They have gotten in the mind of Big Ben and that forces him to hold onto the ball too long and panic. We lost our All Pro guard in the offseason. We lost our Pro-bowl Tackle in Marvel Smith to back surgery. We have a new man under center. Our former first Round right Guard Kendall Simmons was lost for the year with an achilies tendon tear. Both of our backup running backs suffered major injuries, and our #1 pick of Mendenhall was lost for the season with a shoulder tear. Our high profile wideout was suspended for the use of mary-jane and since has lost timing with his Quarterback. The list goes on.

BUT!
When it comes down to it, and when push comes to shove, the offense pulls it together and beats up on teams when need be and never..ever.. gives up and when the game is on the line, they cannot be stopped. Good teams put aside adversity and go get it when they are needed the most, and THAT is what makes a good football team... finding ways to win, period. I know that if my team is playing like shit, and if the game is in the hands of the offense in the final 3, I have all the confidence in the world of them pulling it out.

Remember now, the Chargers were 4-8 at one point, and struggled against mediocre teams all season, and had to itch out a one point nail biter against the Chiefs to save their season, TWICE! Noone will score more than 24 points on this defense, ever.. esp a team that could score points gain not even 230 yards of total offense in the first meeting.

Good luck, Wix

Looks like LT is doubtful and won't play. Sproles is one helluva player, but is not a guy who can handle a 30 carry load. He is a simple splash player and that's it. Pittsburgh will make them one dimensional and with with a clean bill of health and some nice fresh legs, that defense is going to be flying around the field and getting into the face of Rivers more than usual. Defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau has something for this team, and it'll be ugly.

Typical homer response....

If not for a bunch of no talent players....my Lions would be in the playoffs. And Trav, let's be honest. Not to play the if game....but if Brady doesn't go down in game 1, Patriots are AFC champs.....you guys are playing for 2,3, or 4th. Just saying.

Come on Dean...you're smarter than this. Saying weather means NOTHING is RIDICULOUS! Also, the win/loss record of warm weather teams in cold weather games doesn't support what you're saying. It's not about where Favre grew up or where Rivers played in college. It's where these guys get acclimated to playing their games in the pros, and weather has a HUGE impact on the game. There is a reason that in the history of the NFL only one single dome team has ever won a Super Bowl! Come playoff time, dome teams are fucked if they have to play in the elements!

Exactly, their record is deceiving, the Chargers were picked to go to the super bowl in the pre season by many. They are a dangerous team. Never count them out. Kansas City sure did.
Now if this was my Vikings playing on Sunday, I wouldn't even turn on the Game. I would just kick myself in the balls and go shopping at Target!

It just kicks the shit out of me when people just assume a team with a 12 and 4 record or 14-2 cannot be beat by a 8 and 8 or 9 and 7 team. Shit, it is like picking up a hooker in Vegas, you just never know what is going to happen!!

Nevertheless I do not gamble so I don't win or loose money on a game anyway!

LT is a pussy! Natrone Means has been signed out of retirement and will play this sunday. He has kept himself in immaculate shape according to the AP Press. Chuck Muncie was also signed as a back up to Means!

Maybe after SD anything is fare game, but the SD fairy tale is going to be ending very, very soon.

I will take crow if the upset comes, as I took it before plenty of times, and I'm no sore loser and always take it like a man. I'm sick of debating. Sunday needs to hurry the hell up

LT is a pussy! Natrone Means has been signed out of retirement and will play this sunday. He has kept himself in immaculate shape according to the AP Press. Chuck Muncie was also signed as a back up to Means!

What? Did someone tell them that white powder on the ground that looks like snow is really blow?

They needed a mash unit for this game. Way to go Joe, just don't turn over the ball and stay out of the way.

Musta been a hard game to watch for Titans fans. The brunt of the blame lies with the Titans' horrible ball security and Jeff Fisher's clock management at the end (at least call the TO to give them 1:20 when they take over at the end...), but that delay of game non-call was horrendous. Who's to say the Ravens would have ever been even sniffing a field goal if that penalty had been called?

Would have preferred to see Tennessee win also. They just kept self destructing.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Yeah, but those damned turnovers! Sheesh! Those fuckin Ravens can damn well force some turnovers (which I said last week would be the tale of the tape. No brainer there, but still...)

Not having CJ for the second half really hurt to.

Congrats to the Birdies. Tennessee shot themselves in the foot BADLY, and completely out played their opponent. You CAN'T TURN THE BALL OVER IN ANY FOOTBALL GAME ESP IN THE PLAYOFFS. Baltimore got dragged through the mud all game and again relied off of other peoples mistakes to take the game. The better team did indeed, lose today.

..serves Tennessee right to make fun of one organizations towel, and them making one up themselves only to be stomped on. What great irony.

..Oh yah, Malone... if you want to play that card about Brady then I urge you to look into a profession that includes writing fiction tales. Start 'chya rough draft. I'd read 'em.

Cya in Pittsburgh.. the #1 seed.

Pittsburgh has a cake walk to the Super Bowl. Tennessee had 5 fumbles, 3 of those lost fumbles, an interception, lost their best player for the second half, had a brutal non-call go against them, and Baltimore, with zero turnovers beats them by...three. Pittsburgh will win tomorrow by 2 touchdowns and they'll beat the Ravens by 10-14. No mystery in the AFC. Pittsburgh is head and shoulders better than everyone else.

San Diego might not even score double digit points.
