Karaoke Downloads...HELP PLEASE!!!

Postby G.I.Jim » Sun Jan 11, 2009 1:21 am

I know this is going to sound retarded, but I'm having a very hard time finding a site for Journey Karaoke downloads! I don't mind paying for them whatsoever, but I can't find hardly ANY sites out there that have more than a couple of songs. The songs I have heard sound like shit!

Do any of you here have any, or know of a good source to get some songs from? Just let me know. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply, but I'd definitely want to hear what I'm buying before I buy it! There are some shitty artists out there...

Here you go. Not downloads but, my kids have the RadioStarz one and the songs are as close to the original (key, tempo, fills, backing vocals, etc.) as you can get. It's a lot of fun.

Good question.
Every one I have ever heard has been pretty dreadful.
I'd be interested to hear of any which don't sound like they've been made on a kids plastic piano.

Are there any out there?

Jim, Amazon has a few, but not that many.

You can start here, but unfortunately, there's other things in the search that include the word "journey".

Hope that helps a little.

Check your PM.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

Time Warner eliminated their NNTP support without any notice, whatsoever. What a shit cable company. That used to be my #1 source of cool stuff like that. Now if I want News Groups, I have to pay a third party. Paying for piracy seems so wrong!

I've always thought that Karaoke discs used midis for all the instrument sounds. If you are serious about getting good sound quality, make your own discs. Rip your original discs and use a vocal remover, then import the lyrics and burn. It will take some work but it can be done.
Here are a few starter links.

Negative Ghost Rider. A lot of them use mp3 coupled with a cdg file. Some of them are great.
