This place is a battleground the last two days. Better than cable. There's bs vs. sw2, splash vs. pretty much everyone, the great testosterone debate in the football thread, which I was bored enough to read during lunch. So far Stu is leading that battle. He pulled ahead fast and sealed it with "Piss off cum gulper".

Well, my heart sunk a little. I had been wishing and wishing 2008 away so 2009 would come ASAP. If he were to tour, it would definately be in 2010.
The break and the suspense is too big :( ....Anyone know anything else to look forward to in the meantime?

Let's say for the sake of argument that Lora or Cyndi would have run this by Perry already, the whole sound guy thing and drummer thing and all that. Now we are saying that Perry who is one shrewd dude wouldn't be able to figure out who the culprit is who blabbed? So if the argument then becomes that Perry wanted to leak something intentionally now, even that wouldn't make sense as it would be leaked to his own fan sites, rather than a place where he is bashed and trashed quite regularly. It does make entertaining thread fodder, but even if Perry were to come out with something new in the next year, it would be just as much a matter of coincidence, as it would be predictability or as in this case, fanciful cloak and dagger intrigue.

Brilliant! :D

Intrigue will be all the Street Talk songs with the titles anagrammed so we think they're new tracks.
First single will be "Flashier Hoot". 8)

Cloak and Dagger will be the same technique applied to Strange Medicine.
First single... "Obituary Tweet"

These releases will coincide with Journey's next album, Oblivion.

Oh, hell ... how about life?

Get out there and do something new, hang out with interesting people, experience places you haven't been, listen to cool music, pick fights with weirdos on message boards ... engage, be fully present, DO something ...

As it's about 80 degrees outside, i took a stroll to the Cinnabon store earlier today. God, that's good stuff. It's the little things that make life so enjoyable.

Point I'm trying to make is you have to go find life ... it doesn't deliver

Managed to see 41 different bands live in 2008, most of which I'd never seen before. Some of 'em sucked, many were just okay, a few of them were great. Met a bunch of really cool folks, a few really annoying ones, a couple of truly special people.

I expect 2009, likewise, will serve up a whole new slate of possibilities ...

Exhitentialism is the best way to live. :!:
Trouble is, it's hard to balance it with pessimism which I am guilty of frequently...

Lets all try to make 2009 Perry Year, and all events carried out in his honour and name. :D
