And in keeping with the spirit of this thread, Steve Jobs is taking a leave of absence from Apple, saying his health issues were more complex than he thought.

I loved him in The Naked Gun. Now both Ricardo and Robert Goulet are gone, they both played villains in the series.

Noooooooo! Damn. Portmeirion will never be the same again.
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

One of my favorites!

Adios, Ricardo! And when you get to the great gig in the sky, don't be surprised if, upon entrance to the pearly gates, you hear a big booming voice yell "KKKKKKKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!"

Ahem, I'm going to swallow my pride long enough to admit that I am old enough for the Chrysler Cordoba to have been my dream car in high school. I'm not quite sure when the last of those beauties rolled off the assembly line, but it was a tearfull day indeed. I remember twitching with anticipation waiting until I was old enough to get my driver's license so that maybe, just maybe, my mom would buy a used one for me -- with or without the "fine Corinthian leather". But alas, it was not to be.
