The Producer started to fade out the volume of the song, and then the host of the show told the producer to turn it back up and stop talking for a moment. The host then said I want to listen to some Journey for a minute here. And he then said "I want to listen to Steve Perry who has the voice of an angel, and who can sing like only he can." They let the first minute and a half to maybe two minutes of the song play. The host then said that he only wants to hear Rock music tonight and that he's sick of the rap music that the producer has been playing lately.

Did he happen to mention what the weather was like in Cleveland?

No, he didn't. We all know what it's like right now. Although when I stepped out for a while earlier today it didn't feel as cold to me as I was expecting it to feel.

Yes, I'm 100% sure it was the original version with Perry on vocals.

Yes, I'm 100% sure it was the original version with Perry on vocals.
You know, I was reading an interview with Vince Gill, and he was talking about how Pure Prairie League had him sing lead on "Amie" and "Two Lane Highway" for a greatest hits compilation. People started to think that he was actually the original singer on those songs and would tell him, " Amie was the song I listened to with my first sweetheart, etc. etc." He said he hated telling them that the version they remember had Craig Fuller on lead vocals and not him. In hindsight he wouldn't have done the re-records, as the originals attach themselves to peoples memories and he didn't want to feel like he deceived people by re-recording songs that weren't his hits.

Actually, I should correct myself on one thing. I should say that it's the Infinity album version of the song which of course as we all know was sung by Steve Perry. But the original version of WITS was sung by Robert Fleischman.
