We are all seeing footages of Arnel because he is currently getting more TV appearances than any Journey member past and present. I would bet my left nut that if Steve Augeri appears on Sesame Street as

, then we will all see endless pages and threads about how big his Bir errr his performance. I can see absolutely nothing irregular with threads about Arnel singing covers. There are and will be criticisms (same as any Perry, SA, or JSS thread), there are fans defending Arnel (same as any Perry, SA, JSS thread), insults will be thrown left, right, and centre (same as any Perry, SA, JSS thread), and there will be hurt feelings (same as any...well...you get the drift). So yeah, unless Andrew tells us not to, then I think we shouldn't be discouraged from posting footages or Arnel whether he is singing, dancing, or just picking his nose.

I'm an Arnel fan. I happen to like this clip and I like Sharon and thought it was very well done. Of course, there were other videos posted here of duets with Arnel that were average. So what was the point of posting those here? There's another new video on Arnel's site with Arnel doing a duet with a Filipina singer who is playing guitar, but I doubt most of you will care, but I loved it. I go to Arnel's site for all that stuff, and have gotten used to the covers and Journey songs without Journey. It's the uniqueness of who they hired.
So no, Jim, you're not crazy, nor are the avid Arnel fans who love everything he does. I say there needs to be some moderation, which is where I am, right smack in the middle. Peace.
If somebody can post about an inmate eating his eyeballs or a witch getting burned, then surely we can post, in a Journey forum, videos of the current lead singer of Journey actually singing. Feel free to praise, criticise, and even hijack the thread. Aren't those what we regularly do here?
