I'll sing REO's entire catalog. And yes, I am serious.
can you really sing?

Certain tunes. I sing Bruce better than Bruce sings Bruce. For some ungodly reason, I nail Cronin..just have to get into fag character, slip on Lula's panties and bam! Hi Infidelity live!

I don't know, wearing stockings last week, Lula's panties today... is there something you aren't telling us Dean?
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

We could always get Soto to pop over. He will be only an hour away.

I already PM'd him about it, and have heard zilch back from him! That's the same response I got from him the only other time I PM'd him.

Well, we'll just call that bastard.

Call him. I thought he was going to be in Florida though?

Tomorrow I will. Have to work in three hours and I am stupidly talking with you Retards. He is Florida on the 14th. If he were to come, we would have to pick him op in Columbia and return him there as well. It's worth a try.

I'm hoping that long drive is gonna wear you down...all fun and games until someone wakes up with a crank in his face! I don't think you'll have to worry about me though...it's Steve you gotta keep an eye on. If you hear him tuning up that banjo, get out of there FAST!

Dude, I have to work all Wednesday night and fly all day Thursday. Drink like a parched salmon in Chitown before pushing east and then south. Will I sleep on the plane? Probably snore like a broken chainsaw, lol..Fuck em, I don't care. Will I sleep in the car going through Cincy and WVA? No, because Dan and I will be listening to Mr Big and we will be angry. Then when stevew2 and his banjo board in Charlotte, we will be awake still. Then the party. I hope to stay awake, but I am screwed big time.

We had a blast after the show. DerriD (Scott) who used to post on here had a little post-show party in the parking lot. Food, beer, moonshine and his son as the DD. We got fucking lit up and didn't have to worry about shit. The cops eventually asked us to leave nicely...we were the last car in the lot and the show had 20,000 people. The cops were cool and only asked us to leave when everyone else had. I think we stayed for almost 2 hours.

I remember slamming two shots of EverClear back to back at the Mavrick club in the Philippine years ago. I thought I was having a heart attack. I stepped out of the club into the afternoon heat and almost collapsed. I guess I don't have the proper amount of redneck or hillbilly genes in me to handle that shit.

Mix two bottles of Dayquil with a pint of KoolAid and stick that in your flask. That will keep you awake and ready for action.

I've got two updates for you. I just posted a new version of "It's All Over Now" on myspace. I think Alex kicked this song's ASS! :D I can't wait for you to hear it! www.myspace.com/jimrykbost

As far as our "Line-up" goes...we are once again without a guitarist. Robert (from Work Of Art) has a hand injury which is going to require surgery. He can't play lead right now due to pain, but if he gets this surgery...he'll be out for 6 months! He played some rhythm tracks for me, but can't pull off the leads. We both agreed that I should keep up the search. He may join us later...we'll just have to see. Either way, I'm sure we'll work together again in the future.

I've got 2 or 3 great guitarists out there, but trying to find the right fit for these songs is very challenging. I hope to have more news soon, but that's where we are guitar-wise. We're forging on without one for now, but will make a decision about who we're going to go with soon.

Anyway, I hope you like the new song, and I get more pumped every day about this show! We're going to have one hellacious night! :D I think Andrew needs to get his ass out here too...

While I think the world of Barry (and he's one of the funniest and best players I've had the fortune of playing with, AND a great friend), he's really just done covers and doesn't really write or record music. We have to have someone who's really proficient with recording equipment and is capable of recording their tracks from their location and sending files back to us. He is always welcome to come here and record with me though. I told him in the past that I'd love to jam with him.

What about Barry?

Or Larry or Gary?

Is this a new rhyming thread?

I've been wanting to do that.

Well we've got a good start right here. Let'er rip!
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Jimbo. First of all, you're a keyboard playing bastard and Alex is damn sure a great singer. I see why you're excited to work with him. I'd punch up his vocals a half a notch in the beginning, as he's a little hard to hear, but overall, that song is damn good.

I've got more songs that are nearly ready to be revealed too and I hope you guys like them. I'll keep you posted.
