Possible Perry Duets

Postby madsplash » Sun Jan 18, 2009 12:01 pm

I've recently heard of 2 big name female singers said to having been writing/recording with SP. Now, I'm not gonna say any names yet, because I don't have it as 100% FACT and I wouldn't want to be said to be being arrogantly throwing out names  , but if you could pick one person that you'd like to hear him sing a duet with, who would it be?

Big female singers? The biggest one I can think of is Ann Wilson, she's as big as a coke machine. No idea who the next biggest is.

Stop Making gay ass Ballads and Sing with Patty B. I saw her in August and she rocks still. Her opening acts were a little rough but not bad (Berlin, Scandal). It's her 30th anniversary tour this year, so a duet with SP would be great for promoting both artists.

The last thing Steve Perry should do is make a rock ballad with someone like Ann wilson or Pat Benatar. It would be so predictable. I want to Steve doing something different and not playing to a formula. How about a duet with a jazz or a blues singer? What about Suzie P?

I'm trying to think of the last Jazz duet I heard on the radio. Maybe the remake of Unforgettable? Michael Buble is sure raking in the cash going that route. He was among the top 10 tours for last year and I never heard of him until I watched "David Foster and Friends"

She yodels. She'd be as mismatched with Perry as she is with Groban. Celine Dion or Ann Wilson would work.
