OT: Cardinals-Eagles

Postby conversationpc » Mon Jan 19, 2009 7:17 am

I was rooting for the Eagles, just barely, in this game because I would like to see an all-Pennsylania Super Bowl but I'm finding it difficult to root against Kurt Warner and the Cards.

Fitzgerald is a beast. Warner looks TOO comfortable in the pocket, and the refs blew that call.....and I thought this was going to be the worst of the two games......Hard to root against them for sure, Dave....and McScabb is back to his old tricks....sucking ass.

Mnugget keeps either shortarming his throws or is throwing it too hard, making it go short. My Eagles look done. Only that blown call on the kickoff is keeping this from being a total blowout. If anyone had to beat them, I'm glad it's Warner. He is very easy to root for and if the Cards advance, I'll be pulling for him.

Not me. It's pretty cool though.

If you look at my prediction in the NFL playoff thread...I certainly "thunk it" Let us not forget that the Eagles record sucked every bit as much as Arizona's did. They simply played a couple of good games in the playoffs and decided not to show up for this one. It's not over yet, though!

The same Arizona team that went 6-0 in their division, and 3-7 in the remaining games? They are lucky to be here. And it looks like it ain't over yet....Ann Wilson hasn't begun singing......

Good on the Eagles for actually fighting back. I was beginning to become embarrassed for their fans!

No it certainly looks like Ann Wilson has just tucked into a big ass bucket of Fried Chicken and massive order of fries and big ass rootbeer float and wont be singing until shes done chowin down. Certainly appears to be far from over

Well, my season's over. I'm glad they made a game of it, but Warner rose to the occasion at the end.

Wow...Hood clearly grabbed Curtis' left leg as he was slipping to the ground. Can't believe they didn't call that. Easy call.

They blew the call on that kickoff turnover in the first half, so I can't complain I guess. Letting the Cards score a TD on 3rd and goal from that far out sealed the deal.

That chic in your A/V can gourge herself on mine. Time to see if this was McNugget's last game as an Eagle. We just needed the guy to play four quarters for once, but as always, a day late and a dollar short.
