I've had the opportunity to see two of my faves perform together not once, not twice, but three times in the last couple years...........what are the odds, so YA............I's one happy camper!

Throwing JSS and EM into an unrelated thread often has the same effect as someone sh!tting in a swimming pool. It usually clears everyone out in record time and makes everything feel a little dirty!

Seriously though, as I have said before I now have a growing admiration for some of EM's work but not his earlier Mr Big tosh (it's all about Extreme sounding or my tastes - hated them too). Funnily enough I have gone the other way with JSS and much prefer his earlier work to his recent stuff. I guess I'm 'all about the rock', or summin'!

My blackbelt isn't alleged and I only ever offered a "beatdown" when my deceased mother's name was said to have had sex last night with a loser, when she's been gone since 1988. That's a sensitive area for me as you can imagine. It will always evoke the same response from me.

I don't think I ever wanted to get physical with anyone here for anything less. If I did, please remind me and I'll apologize. I've argued, but nothing ever pissed me off like that did, and it always would. It was best that was typed that night and not said to me, because I would have spent the night in jail.

I hear ya, Mr Big isn't for everybody, and have to say I just love EM's song writing out side of Mr. Big. Goin' Sane and Somewhere in the Middle are great cds. As for JSS, I love his solo, Talisman, Soul Sirkus stuff, just not as crazy about his early Yngwie stuff though.

Believe me, I know what my karate is intended for self-defense and I have only ever used it for that, but when that attack was posted, my situation being known or not, that is self defense mode, to me, and I would have acted on it as such if it were in person.

I can take all kinds of critisizm towards me, but my family is off limits.

I get what you're saying about balance and restraint. You're one of my favorite posters on here and I hope we have a somewhat mutual respect.

You know what - Deano, StJohn, Stevew2, Tito - all the hardarse bastards who throw their weight around have all at various times acknowledged that they made a mistake, that they got something wrong, they went over the top, and even on rare occasions they've made an apology. I've yet to see Madsplash make a single honest acknowledgement that he could be wrong in any way.

At the moment, I'll tip my hat to the hard boys - I don't especially like the language, I dislike the personal attacks, I frequently disagree with them, but I'll pay them respect for being big enough to take their lumps when warranted. They earned my respect when they were man enough to say 'I was wrong'.

Madsplash has yet to earn it, and he burnt the 'common courtesy' bridge with his arrogance.
