98.5 a classic rock station here in Cleveland area played 6 straight Journey/Perry songs today in honor of Perry's Birthday!!! The DJ even talked extensively about Perry's background and how he came about joining Journey in very full detail including how he auditioned for the band without Fleischman knowing about it. He did get a few details incorrect, but I thought it was good info for the casual fan.
Songs played: Wheel in the Sky, Ask the Lonely, Girl Can't Help It, DSB, and If you Need me, Call me. I was shocked to hear that last one, but a few rare played radio tunes in there! Also mentioned that he's working on a new CD, and that he just released a Greatest hits CD last week.
