Sorry for being dumb aabout this. See, I have a humble side.

After the 45 seconds have passed there should be a little box near the bottom right of it for you to click on to download it. :)

Thanks Deb, but I'm not seeing that. What does the box say? Again, sorry for being stupid and thanks for your help.

You should be able to download it after that. It won't play directly, but you can then download it and save it to your 'puter.

Dang, once again Deb beat me to it....

NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

Can't help you much from work, as I don't have access to megaupload and am only going on memory, but I think there is 2 little boxes and the one on the right changes to something like download now or download this? Somebody else may be of more help.

Got it. Thanks again!

The only thing that I'll say is that this proves that during this tour his range wasn't diminished at all. That's really the only thing I posted this for in the first place. I think it shows he still had all of the notes in his voice. That's my only point and I apologize for not being clearer on that on my original post. Sorry about that.

I don't think anyone can listen to this and say that he couldn't hit the notes anymore here, or that his voice was cracking.
Other things could be discussed as Arianddu has pointed out to me, but the range and clarity is still there.

Thanks for doing this, Jeremey. And it's cool for you to take sides. You're the most qualified person here to give your opinion. You sing these songs all of the time, and SHOULD have been the bands new lead singer, in my opinion.
I've said that before, that I think that why you aren't their singer is for reasons that weren't fair or anything you could control. I prefer your voice to Arnel's on all of the back stuff I've heard you sing. I know many others who feel the same way that I do.

One quick little question. I know it's none of my business and if that's how you want to answer it, I totally respect it and will shut up immediately. Without going into exact numbers, how well does someone do, being co writer of a hit song on a platimun album? I mean, I'm just very curious and I'm sure others are to. I'm probably the only one stupid enough to ask it, but that's how you learn. Can you give us SOME kind of idea about any kind of financial gain or how it's helped your standing in the industry?

Again, sorry if it's something you'd rather not answer and I totally get that. Just say that and I'll even edit out the question.
I just really dig your voice and talent and love hearing your music and am interested in learning about people who are talented and successfull in the business. Thanks.

Oh FF,
Fan is not a word for me, I'm a complete and total addict. Have seen every episode probably at least 10 times and know most every line from the show.

Love Seinfeld. Have every season on DVD. What a difference the remastering makes, the show is timeless.

I'm also a big, BIG fan of Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Sorry about the spelling. I'm bad at that.
It sounds like we'd REALLY get along. I'm also a HUGE Curb fan. My favorites are The Doll, and Beloved Aunt.
I also REALLY loved the last season with the Black's. Love Leon and I hope he brings them back for this next season, although, know Larry's genius, he may not want to or be able to. I think Vivica is doing another series and J.B. Smoove is a pretty successfull standup comedian.

It's funny, I didn't miss Cheryl much at all. I love Cheryl Hines as an actress, but her character is always bringing Larry down. I know that's part of the magic of the show, but I'd just as soon see Larry stay with Loretta.

Anyway, cool to see you love these 2 shows as much as I do. Who woulda thought?

Beloved Aunt was a great episode! What a misprint! I just cringe when Larry manages to get himself deeper and deeper in the sh!t often through circumstances that have escalated waaay beyond his control.

Totally agree about Cheryl - what a bitch she turned out to be. The look on her face at the end of Season 6 when Larry and Loretta were dancing was perfect! And what a great end to the Season that was, Larry turned the whole thing around in just a couple of minutes, genius!

Jeff getting his head shaved in hospital due to Larry's perceived racism was another Season 6 highlight! "I'm bald!"

Yea, he tells Larry, "Your right, yours ISN'T gonna grow back, and you deserve it!"

How about when Larry had the date with the former braless O'Henry candy bar heiress?! Couldn't make anything happen because the pharmacist had switched his perscription to estrogen on purpose, because he heard Larry say that he wanted it would be nice to get rid of the Blacks!?

Only Larry and Jerry Seinfeld can make a 2 hour movie, start, twist and turn and all come together at the end, and do it in 23 minutes of a sitcom. Brilliant Geniuses.

My favorite line form Beloved Aunt was when Larry was reading the misprint, after the family had been reading it over and over and his Father in law(played by the funny Paul Dooley, who played Wimpy in the Popeye movie) says, "We'll don't keep saying it!) That and his rental car had "Unlimited Mileage". Classic. Paul is from my home state of West Virginia, about 40 minutes from where I live.

Good to talk to another person who appreciates the genius that is the Larry David/Jerry Seinfeld connection. In my opinion, Seinfeld is called the greatest show ever for a reason and Curb is right there with it.

Open Arms isn't the best song, but it's a really good vocal performance from 1986.

You can tell how lame this rythym section is too...definitely very weak replacements of Ross or Steve. Oh and Steve's voice change is only a theory?

I can't believe I'm discussing this song. Fuck, it's one of the last songs from Journey I want to hear anymore.

This version from 1983 is my absolute favorite performance of this song, however.

My guess, with a capital G, is that Perry was a late bloomer, physically. He was able to keep his youthful voice longer than most because of that. But when his body finally start changing, he had already stamped himself in the public eye, as 'The Voice".

That's just a guess on my part though. But if it's true, that would be a bitch to live up to for anyone.

I think I'm probably just spoiled. I first saw Journey live in 78 and 79. Steve's singing was effortless and you couldn't tell the difference between live and the records.

That video was from their 7th show in nine days, and they were doing a minimum 20 song setlist for those Japanese shows. I'm not surpised at all that he was a little tired looking in that performance.

Anyone have any decent Recordings of the openers The Outfield from the ROR tour?

Man I would have love to have seen the Outfield on that tour! (oh and Journey too!) but alas, Journey snubbed Canada yet again on that tour!

Why is it that Casino Rama or Toronto is the only place Journey will ever play north of the border? You'd think that over 25 years they'd play markets that they hadn't been too!

Last year's tour could have easily had them 10-12 000 people a night in Victoria, Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon and Winnipeg, EASY.

Their loss I guess!

But...but...but everyone knows the rest of Canada is nothing but wild, frozen, wind ravaged tundra filled with dangerous wild Caribou, fierce Polar Bears, savage Newfies and rabid Huskies! There might not be anywhere to plug in the hair dryers in the igloos!
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

They played Calgary, May 1982 on the Escape tour..........the one and only time I ever saw Journey w/Perry.
