This was a demo, right? Neal actually sounds worse on here than anyone else. The lyrics aren't that bad. "Homemade Love" anyone?

And I just got to the 2:58-3:02 mark. That was a terrible, terrible note by JSS.
'Nothing was bigger for Journey than 1981’s “Escape” album. “I have to attribute that to Jonathan coming in and joining the writing team,” Steve Perry (Feb 2012).'

In all seriousness, and don't take it from me, this new CD is getting rave reviews, 4 or 5 stars and should have a lot of hit songs. The Wrestler is already one, and I can see a few others released as top tenners. This Life, My Lucky Day and Surprise Surprise. Magic had it's moments, but man, you need to listen to this one again. Outlaw Pete is an Epic...Love the organ/violin solos...

Tortament? Is that some new law terminology? What the Hell dude, you make no sense whatsoever.

And to be fair to the Queen of Journey, Mrs Joan Cain-Friga, it wasn't her idea to play that show, it was Neal's. Frig popped open some Pilgrim books and a couple encyclopedias and copied a few gay Quaker words and Puritan references and called it good. In Soto's defense, he had nothing to do with the writing on this shit song. Like some said, he just had to make it listenable. I am surprised Friga couldn't work in the words, "saving grace yet again."

Me too. Poor JSS looked up in the air and saw Friga and Schon's shit cascading down on him. he never had a chance.

Ugghhh....

Dean I meant leave me out of the way you always - And I mean ALWAYS - talk about how my unofficial demo of a song is SOOOOO terrible and such an "abomination" when compared to JSS's version. We get it. You like Jeff. Using my demo is a clever way of saying "Jeff's was bad but it wasn't THIS bad!!" Can anyone mention WOF without you chiming in about how shitty my little demo was? I really don't think you can....

Hey - Some people like lyrics about pilgrims and Jamestown and whatever the song was about...That's cool. Maybe some people liked my take about a universal vision of how great our country still is as families struggled to be able to raise their children here and give them a better life than the one they had. That's cool too. Very few people care, however, how terrible atrocious my little unreleased demo was, and that's why I wondered why you always seemed to bring that up.

No problem brother! Carry on!!

I removed those demos because despite my asking that people not compare my single take writing version to Kevin Shirley's brilliant production and Arnel's comped 253 take version it still popped up on YouTube with people (mostly pinoys) talking about how terrible and fat I am. So another dumb move by me.
