Ok- Idol showing footage- he has a new CD to promote- Randy to push for SP the AI & Perry's history to pull this off. This could be the greatest PR for a CD in history. So madsplash am I near the truth or just need to go to bed.

The show was from Jacksonville, so they riffed on Randy Jackson sharing the name and showed something that he was part of. Epic Fail on the part of those expecting something more.

Once that was taken care of, his plan developed from there with a great idea for an intro to the audition show. “You see Randy, the city’s name - Jacksonville makes the connection to you and your name - Jackson, which makes the connection to when you were in Journey (if we play that darn DSB tune one more time!), and if during this intro we show MY face in addition to yours, well it makes the connection to ME of course!” So he orchestrates all of this six months ago, and patiently waits for it to air. YES!!! Once again he has snuck his name back into the public awareness. Brilliant, simply brilliant - muahahahahaha!

It's a shame he hasn't been on AI in some capacity. Does he realize that he's now 60? I hope he's happy and wish him the best, but something tells me that deep down he regrets wasting the better part of the last 20+ years basically painting himself the victim of some imaginary crime.
