The plurality of a band's name......

I'm not sure if this deserves its own topic, but.....

IMHO, a singular band name...i.e. Journey, is refered to always in the singular...even though the band consists of more than one member.

For example: Journey belongs in the HOF. It just sounds weird, to me, to say it otherwise.

For example: Journey belong in the HOF. This sounds wrong to me.....

Then say it this way instead... Steve Perry and Journey belong in the hall of fame, and your singular problem is solved.
