Roethlisberger has proven to be a VERY average QB, which is why I am hoping that Pittsburgh doesn't win. If Pittsburgh wins, their fans will start comparing Ben to Montana and Brady which would be flipin' RIDICULOUS. Arizona has a MUCH better offense than Pittsburgh has, but Pittsburgh's defense is IMMENSE! Conventional wisdom says that defense always wins these games, and therefore Pittsburgh should be the easy pick. As we New England fans know, the team that is supposed to win doesn't always win. I like Arizona in an upset. That said, if Arizona's line doesn't protect Warner, the Steelers will win by three touchdowns! Go Cardinals!

The Stillers wouldn't be HALF of the team they are now without Big Ben. The way he commands leadership and by the way he takes no prisoners and how he manages to pull out games the way he does is god-like. Only rookie to go 13-0. Youngest Quarterback to win a Superbowl. Fastest player ever to tally 50 wins. The man doesn't lose, PERIOD, from his high school, college, and now pro days. He gets the job done in a drop of a dime, and the greats win when called upon, regardless of numbers.

Another thing, I've never seen a Quarterback take a beating like this man does week in and week out, and STILL come after you no matter what round it is. I'll take a tough as nails, son of a bitchen quarterback who spits blood from his nose in between huddles and promise guys he WILL get it done, hurt or not. We expect no other here in Pittsburgh, and that's why we will throw Arizona around with our pointer finger.

I'm with you, Trav.

Roethlisberger is going to light up the place; Steelers will win big.

And hopefully, Limas has found some stickum for his hands ... :D

Hines is a warrior, and he won't skip a beat, and will be riding on pure Adrenalin. We don't know how the offense will be tailor made because of this, esp. on 3rd downs, so look for Limas Sweed or Nate Washington to have a HUGE game today since they will likely be matched up in single coverage. Like I said The Cards like to give way to tight ends so I think Heath has something in store for these guys.

HERE WE GO!!!!

My head says Pitt, my heart says Arizona. Arizona is a dangerous/explosive team. You never know what can happen when you have the likes of Fitzgerald and Boldin running routes for Kurt Warner. Two stories will dictate the outcome of the game: Big Ben taking care of the football (needs good run support) and Arizona's defense playing solid. Pitt's D is gonna make some big stops and Arizona's offense is gonna make some big plays.

Another celebrity with Arizona ties is Alice Cooper, who lives in the Valley of the Sun. He too is a believer.

“I'll tell you what, they've gone through everyone. They've walked through them,” Cooper said. “They're going to be hard to beat with their momentum. Steel Curtain or not, the Cardinals think they can win everything, so they probably will.”

If the Coop says it, I believe it.

In my opinion, the story of this game will be Kurt Warner. If Kurt Warner plays well and gets protection, Arizona will not lose to Pittsburgh. That's obviously a HUGE "If". Ben Roethlisberger doesn't need to play well for Pittsburgh to win and he has already proven that on more than one occasion. Even though many Pittsburgh fans will have you believe Ben is Montana reincarnated (when the reality is that he couldn't carry Montana's jock), the guy is a very good football player and an above average football player. I just don't believe that he's an above average QB, but Pittsburgh's defense is good enough to win in spite of Ben.

I'm taking the Cardinals and the 7 points. More importantly, I have 0-0 in a pretty big pool so I'm mainly rooting for my numbers and don't care who wins as long as I hit at least 1 quarter!

I'm interjecting for a moment....

Ahem! They just showed a David Tyree piece about last year's Superbowl....Now, on that play it was either HOLDING - cause Seymour was getting choked while he had Eli in the grasp, or it was definitely in the grasp. Either way, Giants had no business winning that game....

Great play by Harrison, bad play call by AZ, and worse tackling skills by AZ offense......

"Born to Run" was pretty good. The choir with the robes and such in this one is a little too over the top. Hokey.

Bruce was rockin' it. He is the Boss. But Born to Run they had the music really loud over his voice, and I noticed in places his vocals were really rough on that song. Maybe why they had the music up louder.

That was a terrible lead vocal performance. Really bizarre overall.

I thought it was a really great half-time show energywise and regarding showmanship compared to so many I've seen over the years.
