Please don't encourage them by posting in this thread. I want to take pleasure in seeing it slowly drop down the board and disappear forever.

And all this after I suggested to them a 20th Anniversary reunion for MRF2. They said no to this....but it seems common sense prevailed.

Which is why I am surprised they like Mr Big. Hardly the most rockin' band on the planet!

No it sucks. I can see the confusion though, three of the letters are the same. Easy mistake to make.

In all seriousness though, I think it is good for melodic rock and a nice little nostalgia trip f0or those who make it over. I would bet a limited edition DVD gets made.

Very snappy. Although I do dislike the band I have a growing admiration for Eric's vocal work and refer you again to the following part of my comment -

I believe they call it redemption. Any news of a possible DVD recording of these shows..?

And say hello to Augeri for me, his latest album is seriously good!

Thank gawd, I'm thrilled with this news! :) Ask again? Funny, I just made this post to Melly in the NAMM 09 thread last week! And put up a Billy and Paul drill song AV yesterday. Hey, I think this positive thinking thing really works.

Not sure Melly, I didn't see him in that clip. But Pat seems so easy going anyway, it's the other 3 I'd like to lock in a room until they agreed to re-unite for at least one show. Hey, it worked for Motley Crue.

Well, Extreme (who had a similar career trajectory as Mr. Big...'musicians band' that had a hit with an atypical ballad then fell off the radar) did a pretty good tour here, so I'm hoping Mr. Big could do a successful U.S. tour of small theaters and larger clubs like Extreme.

I'm not holding my breath though...too many egos in that band, and the breakup seemed fairly acrimonious.

I thought of that too, and hopefully after 20 years some of the egos are gone, otherwise it's going to be short-lived. But then again I like EM's vocals and songwriting just as much outside of Mr. Big so it's all good. :)

Hopefully they do a few US dates, I'd at least like to see them LIVE once.......and I ain't going to Japan. A lot of their concert shows I have on dvd are out of Japan (except the Fillmore and the Roxy), so hopefully one of them over there will be recorded. Their very last show in 2002 was put out on dvd, so hopefully a reunion one would be. :)

EM's voice has held up but his solo stuff doesn't do much for me...he always had some great ballads he brought to Mr. Big ("Promise Her The Moon," "Superfantastic," etc) but a whole album full of them is overkill.

I don't really care if they do another DVD unless they have some new music to go with it...god knows they have more live releases than the Grateful Dead relative to how many albums they made. I'd kill to actually be able to get to a show though.
