Carla, thanks for the Queensryche one...I really liked it, esp. his voice...think I need to buy their music.

Here's one from Jeff Buckley "Grace": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=siNsgbIWhAQ

and of course, Enya is the epitome of haunting quality: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y1L8uRApYeQ

and just remembered another from my playlist by Clannad (from the movie Patriot Games, which we've seen a zillion times): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ugwzL-YHIk4

Hola Tammy, your welcome!! i think you might enjoy Queensryche work like Operation Mindcrime,Promise Land or Empire, personally i love all the mention plus Queensryche and The warning (the last both have a more metal sound). A haunting melody for you from the excellent album O.M. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vvgLj8pa ... re=related

btw the melodies from Enya and Clannad make remember relaxation and imagery class..no stress songs, i need more of that

Saludos!

Good tracks Carla, you're from Chile right?

Any South American music fit the bill?

Gracias StoneCold, yes i'm from Chile
hmmm i can't remember songs that be really haunting except from bands like Pentagram, but i don't think that go well here...altought there is some spanish bands that i think they have this kind of sound

Barón Rojo : Si tú no estás allí (for my taste the best rock band that sing in spanish)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZpzDeXGK ... re=related

Angeles del Infierno: Jugando al amor (just in case nothing to do with The Wall vid :? )
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KfVBwdBd ... re=related

now a song from The best black metal band: Bathory, the sound is so haunting..this metal style is no my fav, but this band is cool and this song in particular is great :D

The Bathory track reminds me of Ozzy in BS.

Check this one, do you think Rip would approve?

I have some Hawaiian friends at work that told me all about him. I'd heard his songs, but didn't know who he was or where he was from until fairly recently.
