SWEET!!!

This is from Kip Winger's new solo album From The Moon to the Sun -- check out the "Good, Bad & The Ugly" keyboards in the 2nd song. Very fitting. Kip Winger IS the Clint Eastwood of Rock!

And a bonus newsflash -- Kip Winger has a Feb. date scheduled at the Hard Rock Cafe in Pittsburgh on Feb. 28th, and will be joined by Reb Beach and... wait for it... FIONA!!! Dang... I'll be all the way across the country. Someone needs to tape this!

Kip is awesome, and one of the most talented dudes in the business! The first thiry seconds of the song seems a little out of place, but once his normal vocals come through... pure genius. The end of the song has some killer harmonies too. You go boy!

Kip's actually going to be five minutes from my house on Feb. 28th., the 27th is when he'll be in Pittsburgh.

I can't wait to see him, one of my rock and roll icons.

And you Winger folks have the audacity to put Springsteen down?

Fuck Jeremey, that's yet another agreement.

Kip should do Fabio or dancing cowboy impersonations, and hang up the music.

Winger was vastly underrated - just look at the raw talent of Reb Beach and Kip Winger alone.

Agreed. I never got a chance to see Winger live, but I've seen Kip solo live, and he was awesome. I'm a huge Whitesnake fan, and got to see Reb live with Whitesnake, absolutely awesome show.

 Alrighty, who do you think mumbles? EM? Sorry, and Kip is definitely a talented songwriter/singer/guitarist and an absolute sweetheart in person (took my sig pic) but I wouldn't put him up in my top vocalists. He's got a great voice but he's missing a certain delivery that only an R&B influenced singer brings. :)

I was refering to Springsteen Deb. Not Eric, another great singer with a voice. Kip's in my top ten vocalist.

I was hoping you'd see this. You have absolutely no excuse not to go to this show. Maybe you can offer him a place to stay. Having Kip Winger in your house would be a huge honor.

Conversation was awesome, though it definitely threw people who were expecting something heavy for a loop. Dated someone years ago and that was our album.

Thought that too, not sure I like his gruff vocals at the beginning there, but the rest was good.

Not necessarily R&B, but R&B influenced rock singers just seem to have extra soul(ballad)/passion(rocker) in their delivery of a song IMO. Don't get me wrong, I think Kip is awesome, but vocally, won't be bumping my top 3 out of their spots. :) But it was cool as hell to see him and Eric join JSS on stage for this song..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BpFjKXLQ ... re=related
