I'll lay it out there. I've heard that this was a calculated headline maker.

To think that this man would go to a bar and sing, and not get it seen or talked about with all of today's technology is just comical.

There just will be confirmation or there'll won't be.

All of these MANY things keep happening and some keep saying that it must be a coincidence. OK. Not one or two things, but MANY.

It's cool. I'll be glad to be the laughing stock, but I'll also be glad to be the crazy bastard who just happened to know what he was talking about.

C'mon. Think about it. Can it all really be a complete farce? Use your heads.

You don't get it do you. And I'm growing pretty tired of this. Lora Beard, one of Mr. Perry's longest and most valued friends has herself commented within this thread saying there is nothing to talk about.

But no...must be a conspiracy by all of us just to stop you being the all-knowing oracle of Perryworld. Dear me...

i dont want to be out of line here.. BUT .. i have been to this Baked Potato club.. both of them..in L.A. , there

is seating for about

20 people .. and standing for about 15 more with a shoe horn.. saw Landau there..fell asleep during

a story he was telling about his dog..

, true story..

not much of a place to create a "coming out" buzz though..

oddly enough.. they do serve Baked Potatoes.. like $12 bucks though..

This wasn't your rumor or fact. It was the musician's. You knew nothing about this but yet you are inserting yourself into this story as now knowing something. Just like the Randy Jackson promo where Perry was practically nonexistent on the clip and was all about Jackson and yet you acted like you had inside info on that as a Perry promo.

You should stick to your initial information which most believe now, and not try to be so self-important. Just sayin' . . . . . . . ..

Utter utter bullshit of the HIGHEST order.

I've talked with 2 people today that are extremely close to Mr. Perry and the direct word is that this "appearance" was a private matter and the fact that it is now of public debate is regrettable and was not intended to be so in ANY fashion.

Sorry, splashy, I have to go with Andrew on this one.

It reminds me of the Perry song, "She's Mine" Lyrics that say, "I've seen your kind before, I've seen you creeping around, before you come round my door, there's one thing you
got to know, she's mine, Oh mine. Don't show your face here no more........." "don't hang around here no more........ :D O.K. This thread has made me so tired, I'm going to bed.

Mr. Denander goes on to say the following:

Steve actually sang a lot that night as well cause he was wailing and doing harmonies to Moon's lead vocals...he sounded very good that night anyway!!!

And the worst part is that he REALLY wanted to go up and sing a song with the band, he was waveing to Michael to bring him up...i told Michael as well but he never did and after the show i asked him why and he said "what??...i didn't believe that he really wanted to come up...shit" haha...and i had my video camera so it would've been a perfect end to a magic night cause Michael and Moon played the best songs from the classic MTB album and they sounded killer....

 and THEN says THIS:

This thread was never meant to be a STEVE PERRY is officially back and is touring again, soon at a city near you...

some of you need to chill and read the threads better....he sang live at a private thing but it wasn't 2 guys and an acoustic guitar i can tell you that much!!

...there were some big names jamming...and that's the end of the story....

If it's so "private"....shouldn't you have followed that cue?

Exactly and I want to know this: Steve was waving to them to ask him up on stage? Why would he need to do that? I'm just sayin'. I'm picturing Steve Perry off the stage going, "Ooo! Ooo! Can I get up and sing a song with you guys?" LMAO Sorry. I don't know how things work obviously but I can't picture that scenario. (I'm not saying it didn't happen) 8)

Let me make sure I got this straight...

1.) Nobody can post a picture of Steve Perry at a private event (I am talking about the wedding pictures that were posted a while back that Perry's lawyers had removed).

2.) Nobody can post any comments about Steve Perry's attendance at a private event.

Got it.

My question: Who friggin' cares?

It was a closed door thing, apparently, and we sure aren't about to see or hear a microsecond of it, so why all the fuss in worrying about the who, when, where, why, how and what? It happened, it was not meant to be shared with us, moving on.

"Omg omg Steve SANG!! He SANG!!!! This MEANS something!! (We'll seeee!!) He's gearing up for something BIG!!"

Nope. Let's all dry out our britches here. Means nothing.
Means he did whatever he did, on his own time, and that's all it means.
