"Omg omg Steve SANG!! He SANG!!!! This MEANS something!! (We'll seeee!!) He's gearing up for something BIG!!"

Nope. Let's all dry out our britches here. Means nothing.
Means he did whatever he did, on his own time, and that's all it means.

See, that's the thing that YOU don't get. A lot of people DO care.Just because you don't, doesn't mean that others don't.
No one interupted his private doctor's apointment or anything like that, my God.

I'm sure he realizes that in this day and age, no private event help at a PUBLIC bar is going to be safe from people seeing it and possibly getting pictures etc.

And as far as meaning nothing, while there have been rumors of him recording in the past, I've not heard many that he's sung live in public recently.
It means what it means and doesn't "mean nothing" just because you say so, BJgirl. Talk about me acting arrogant?
I don't think ANY of us know exactly what it means.

Remember when I first posted here that he was working on new stuff and many said I was making it up and now that's been PROVEN to be true. As for when it comes out, that's still yet to be seen. But we now have it confirmed by many sources that he IS working on new stuff.

I just don't understand why someone posting about him singing live somewhere is such a problem for some. This a Journey forum, right? He is one of, if not THE, most important members in the band's history isn't he?

IMO, one of 2 things is happening. He's doing these things and IS very dissapointed that things are leaking out, OR he knows that it's impossible for this stuff NOT to come out, and has even gone so far as to tell some of his camp and people close to him to deny that anything is happening. Knowing what a buzz that would create.

Time will reveal all, as we know. But to say that him singing live ANYWHERE(I don't care if it's Happy Birthday at a kid's party) isn't a big deal, I think is pretty silly.
Even if it means nothing, the fact that he did it is going to be news to his fans, that's just a fact.

Don't we all HOPE this would mean, or lead to, something? As a fan, I know that I do.

we all hope and care but are tired of the constant innuendos pointing to something.
Sounds like crying wolf which is Perry status quo.
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

Don't tell me what I do or do not get. I "get" it just fine. I will care about whatever he chooses to release publically. This wasn't intended for that, and it's never going to be shown to us, so I'm not going to spend all my time worrying about what happened and what it might meeeeeean in terms of all these wonderful plans you keep informing us exist.

Oh give me a break. I rarely if ever resort to cussing people out around here (except Deano, but we just try to speak his language), but you are one serious dumbass. Nothing has been "PROVEN". He got up in some bar or club and sang, that's it, and that does not indicate one way or another whether he will release something. For all you know he got up and sang Happy Birthday to his neighbor's kid's fucking dog. A lot of us have been hearing about a release since long before your Special Ed ass showed up here and if and when it happens, you're not going to get all the praise we all know you think you deserve.

And do not call me arrogant, Mr. "Remember what I posted, well it is now PROVEN true."

I dunno....maybe it was a kind of "inside joke".

Oh that's just SP and a few of his friends getting together one Sunday every month and sharing baked potato recipes. They play "pin the beak on the face" and other games like that. Nothing to get too excited over.

That's absolutely brutal Dude!!!!!!!!!! (although I find his beak hot) Thanks for my laugh of the day.

But I gotta know. How did you find out he sang to his neighbor's kid's dog? That was supposed to be top secret.

I saw him in a Pub in Nottingham this week.
The Pub's called "The Open Arms" he was drinking Guinness and eating Cadbury's chocolate.

I offered to buy him another Pint. He said "no thanks" but would I mind if he sang to me? I said, "oh, well, if you really must."

And he sang at the top of his voice to the whole Pub.
I didn't even know he knew the lyrics to "My Old Man's A Dustman."

It sounded bloody good I'll tell you. Be better with a nice guitar solo and a bit of reverb on his vocal, but, hey it impressed me.

When it's released, you'll see.

No, Gunbot looks nothing like JSS. And he didn't have a cat with him. Couldn't have been Gunscot Soto. No way.

It was definitely SP. I would recognise that beautiful nose anywhere.

And when he left he did say, "Time to leave. I never felt part of this Pub."

OK. Whatever. And if the curtain "comes down on me" just for posting non agressive, non attacking posts, that happen to differ with what "some" people think, than that's very, very sad.

I think a lot more of this place than that. Hell, I've had my sexuality questioned and my deceased mother's virtue brought into question, and the people who said those very nice things sure didn't get "the curtain down on them".

Andrew would never have to ban me. Out of respect to him and this forum, if he tells me privately that he doesn't want me to post here anymore, I would completely follow that request. I wouldn't understand it, but would respect it.

I would just hope that the request would have more merit to it than me posting contrasting opinions and just what I've been told by people close to me.
And if arrogance is not allowed on this forum, only a select, very few, number of members would remain.

Thanks.

So what are your thoughts on Guinness with chocolate or prunes?

Come ON mate, lighten up.

I don't post here that much but it's obvious to me that it's not the text in your posts which pisses people off but the tone of them.
Not the content but your attitude.
Just sayin'.
:)

P.S.
I've only ever tasted Guinness once and I hated it. Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

Well that explains it, you got him mixed up with Gbot. He's mentioned....that happens all the time.

Gunbot is scary when he mixes the Guiness with the Cadbury............just scary...................

Just the idea of mixing beer and chocolate....... Image

Try prunes in the Guinness. Makes a nice meaty Pint.

Oh great...............Thanks Suz........now I am going to Image

Just trying to help you all with your digestion.
All this excitement plays havoc with your system.

So when is the new album coming out?

My tone is me and It's not meant to be arrogant. I'm a very confident person and don't mean to come off as arrogant or cocky.
I'm not trying to gain respect over anyone here. Just posting what I'm told. Whether or not what I'm told happens will be shown to be true or not.
I have many things that I'm in control of and that I oversee. I understand what it's like to be reponsible for things and I wouldn't challenge the authority and the dedication it takes to run a place like this.

And by the way, I Hate Guinness. I'm an American Bud Light drinker. I know, I know, it's supposed to be a "wussy, watered-down, American beer", but it also doesn't taste like a freakin' milkshake and doesn't give me a headache.

I've been a Coors Light drinker for as long as I've drank beer, but lately I've started to experiment with other beers, including ales and dark beers. And the one that I've found that I like more than any other is Shiner Bock. Give that one a shot.

Well it IS a watered down American beer, but it tastes fine in my opinion.
Now what about English Cadbury's chocolate?
Post something nice about that and you will win friends and influence people.

They have that stuff (the regular and Dark)at the supermarket here. Sorry but it's not my cup of tea. I tried to enjoy it but it's not close to Guinness IMO.
