Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Heck no!
And it ain't over now. 'Cause when the goin' gets tough..................................................................................................................................................................................... the tough get goin'! Who's with me? Let's go!
What happened to the MR people I used to know? Where's the spirit? Where's the guts, huh? This could be the greatest night of our lives, but you're gonna let it be the worst. "Ooh, we're afraid to go with you Ginger, we might get in trouble." Well just kiss my butt from now on! Not me! I'm not gonna take this.

Now we could do it with conventional weapons that could take years and cost millions of lives. No, I think we have to go all out. I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part.
We're just the guys to do it.
Let's do it.

Over! No!!!!!!!!! It's not over till we say its over! Who's with me?

If I attacked someone every time I had "had it" with them, I would seem like a very mean and violent person, which I'm not.
It's all good. Everything will work itself out soon enough.

Wow, you're right about the assholes.

Dude, whatever. I certainly do not attack people just because I've "had it". The only other person I can think of here that made me mad enough to say something (once!) was Tito and I LIKE him. And do not even try to call anyone childish until you take that signature down. THAT is childish.

I've never had a female call me "dude". I'm not sure that sits well with me. I'm confused.
And it'd be easy for you to not have my signature bother you. Don't waste your precious time looking at it.

Listen. I respect your opinons. I just really don't care for them and it's obvious you feel the same about mine. You don't need me and I sure as hell don't need you.

Let's move on. OK?

Tell you what. I'm absolutely frickin' done with you and your attitude on here. So let this be one last final warning. YOU move on and chill out or it's see ya pal. I have never liked your attitude....move on or move out.

It was superbowl Sunday's pre-game Journey performance. Steve was at a get-together with his buddies. Beer was spewed from noses ... it was one helluva performance!

That's what I think. And, it's not exactly rumors now...somewhere in the city Steve Perry sang again...I knew that earthquake here last week meant something. lol!

The pure Dairy Milk bar is pretty good though.

You need to get some from a store which sells the stuff from England. Someone local to you will know where you can buy the real deal from.

I hear that Hershey bars taste like vomit, so Cadbury has to be better than that, right?

You do know Eton College one-upped the Glaswegians with the Deep Fried Cadbury Creme Egg, don't you? Now the thought of eating that makes me nauseous!

If anyone needs a reprimand, you come to mind first. Grow up and get a grip, this is supposed to be fun.
Go somewhere else if you can't play nice.
 :D

2 months here and you're telling me to go somewhere else? Wrong. I have ALWAYS played nice on this forum, avoided the drama, and gotten along very well with people, apart from several random and not real important debates that I can count on one hand with digits to spare. For two years I have gotten along with basically everyone here, and I've met a very large number of them in person, and made really awesome friends, so don't even think about calling me out.

I've not said anything different to or about madsplash that the majority has also been saying for months now, and I was a whole lot nicer than some others have been, and as I stated, I rarely if ever say things like that to people here and this whole board can tell you that. Fact is, that attitude of his is seriously getting on peoples' nerves and I'm damn sure not the only one who has said it, and that's been going on for at least four months, that I can recall.

I'm not even about to have drama here. This is beyond lame.

Thanks for your response, it just screams attitude. Point made. I am not suggesting you go somewhere else, but rather lighten up, chill out, take a qualude, have a cup of tea...........stop the ranting.
:D :D :D

They don't make Quaalude's anymore. I haven't heard that in ages.

BJG is one of the best posters on this site. She usually doesn't go after someone unless she's had it up to her eye lids, and apparently she has. She's as cool as a cucumber usually though. Just let her vent and all will be well. ;) I've done the same. Haven't I MS?

Something I love about BJG, she gets upset tells you what the bug is up her chimney, and moves on. She holds no grudges, and gets it out of her craw. I think I have had a butt chewing by her in the beginning come to think of it, probably deserved it.

With every butt chewing I got, I learned something new, and about people on this site. When I have asked newbies to get to know people before getting upset, it is because there are things about each poster here that you cannot learn overnight. The vets have earned their stripes, and even if they come across harsh, sometimes they are trying to do you a favor.

Rockindeano has busted my chops a few times  , Rick, Rip, and Finalfight taught me to take it easy, get to know folks here. I have disagreed with folks here, and still do on some things, but I cannot say I hate anyone.

Sometimes people tell you things here to help you learn to navigate through this site smoother, and with fewer scars to show from it!

Cheekymonkey, BJG is a golden lady, I have a great deal of respect for her. If she is mad at me she tells me, and not in third person either, I have had people talk about me in third person, like I don't exist, or I cannot fathom they are talking about me   And I am not talking about you when I say that either, I don't think you and I have had any problems to date.........that I am aware of!

This site is wonderful, such deep personalities, and passionate oppinions. I have given madsplash a hard time, but not because I hate him, it is because his persistance wears me thin sometimes. I am glad he is on to talking chocolate with us........always room to grow!

I agree. I read a lot and don't post real often - I'm still a little shy yet- but I've really enjoyed the posts. Madsplash strikes me as someone who has a point to prove. Sometimes it seems to come across like "I have to have the last word because I'm right." That said, I think Mad has had some good posts too and I've enjoyed the input. BJG has been a great lady from what I can tell and I see no attitude in her posts, she's merely standing up for herself. Something I lack unfortunately and admire. There are a lot of great people here.

Now my 2 cents on the chocolate: I LOVE Caramellos, most stuff with dark choc. and choc. with almonds in it is my fave.

Would you do me the blessing and honor of allowing me to be the one to moderate my message board?

Understood. I just need to know the exact guidlines and if people get reprimanded for questioning one's sexuality or questioning the virtue of one's deceased parents?

I can take getting slapped on the wrist when I deserve it, but would just like to know everyone plays by the same rules.
I understand that a forum veteran would get a little leadway, but personal nasty attacks would be different, I would hope.

Either way, I'm a big boy and can take it and I'll try not to seem arrogant. But you have to realize that it's hard to do that when what I'm posting seems confident and not arrogant to me. But I'm gonna try.

Had the best dark beer in Australia during an octoberfest in May 2003 in Tenterfield...
Wow, me & my Dad finished off a pitcher...
I was in heaven!

Nothing like being with family after many years of being apart with a fine black beer to exhalt the senses....
We got even M om to try a sip!!!!

Heaven!!!!!

:D

Australian beer - 'nuff said.

Although Ehwmatt, if you like Boddingtons, you need to give Beamish Red a try.

I'll look for it. It can be pretty tough to find good beer in this town though.

As if anyone knew your life history when that was said. C'mon, sorry about your Mother, but take it as a joke (one that is used often and by many many people world wide... example: "You're a gaylord." "Blow me." "...That's what your mom said.") made by someone who wasn't trying to question the virtue of a departed woman. I'm sure it's a sore spot for you, but try to look at it objectively for what it is.

I undertand that, but even as a joke, isn't that worse than someone acting cocky or arrogant? I mean really. And I always refrain from saying that stuff, just in case someone has a situation like mine, which many do.
Why take the chance, you know? Have a little class.

I'd much rather have someone act arrogant around me, which I can easliy choose to ignore, than to say childish, sick things about someone'e personal life, when they know nothing about it. And once again, I'm very glad that wasn't said to my face because I would have spent the night in jail.

I understand it was meant as a joke, although a childish and classless one. But maybe, just maybe some of my arrogant and cocky posting is being done in fun. Anyone ever think of that?

Anyway, it'd just be nice to know that there's an even playing field. That's all one can ask.

I don't think the 'guidelines' are that difficult to figure out. I think it starts with stopping with the whole attitude of insisting that your opinion on an issue is the only one that matters because you think that you are right. And anyone that doesn't agree with you is being negative. Once you stop throwing yourself in the middle of an Internet rumor as if you have any knowledge of said rumor, chances are people will take you more seriously. As far as the personal attacks..I think you are over dramatizing those to give the impression that you are some type of victim. We've all been called a lot worse stuff on this board than you have by multiple members..and we get over it..or we leave. Once you figure this all out, I think you'll get a grasp on the fact that you don't need guidelines, you just need a maturity level that allows you to understand that this board, like any other online community, is full of different personalities and opinions. Not all have to think you are the center of the information universe.
