As if anyone knew your life history when that was said. C'mon, sorry about your Mother, but take it as a joke (one that is used often and by many many people world wide... example: "You're a gaylord." "Blow me." "...That's what your mom said.") made by someone who wasn't trying to question the virtue of a departed woman. I'm sure it's a sore spot for you, but try to look at it objectively for what it is.
I undertand that, but even as a joke, isn't that worse than someone acting cocky or arrogant? I mean really. And I always refrain from saying that stuff, just in case someone has a situation like mine, which many do.
Why take the chance, you know? Have a little class.
I'd much rather have someone act arrogant around me, which I can easliy choose to ignore, than to say childish, sick things about someone'e personal life, when they know nothing about it. And once again, I'm very glad that wasn't said to my face because I would have spent the night in jail.
I understand it was meant as a joke, although a childish and classless one. But maybe, just maybe some of my arrogant and cocky posting is being done in fun. Anyone ever think of that?
Anyway, it'd just be nice to know that there's an even playing field. That's all one can ask.
What's good for the goose... nevermind. Arrogance is fine in my book when you're right. You're not.
