This whole song is killer! Vocally amazing, well written. And the musician's are top notch.

Lincoln can do ANYTHING Neal can do.

I've got a feeling this the kind of stuff we can expect on the new album. Slow, bluesy, powerfull stuff.

Yea, he couldn't sing anymore at this point,

This song is a vocal high-wire circus. Incredible!

He could definitely sing the night I saw him in 94. I could not get over how he was able to mimick that "legacy" Journey sound
with a totally different line up. The opening harmonies on "You Better Wait" get me everytime.
Always would have loved to hear Journey give that one a try. Maybe someday, eh???

You Better Wait is a GREAT song. Somewhere There's Hope never did much for me. I love Donna Please though. Great slow song with some interesting chord changes. Listen to Your Heart is also a great tune. Love the groove on that one.
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

The night I saw him in Pittsburgh at the AJ Palumbo Center, he was killing also. A couple of the songs were dropped a half step or so, but you didn't notice it because he was so on with pitch, tone and massive power.

It's hilarious to me when someone says that band had "inferior" musicians. That's completely false. That band sounded spectacular and all of those guys play their asses off. Every signature Journey part was covered and the FTLOSM stuff was excellent.

FTLOSM has really grown on me lately, his voice was amazing on that album (as always).

"Listen to Your Heart" and "Somewhere There's Hope" are my absolute favorites from FTLOSM. He actually sounds better on those boots of his live performances (specifically the NYC show) than the studio versions of those songs. How does he do that??? Perry is one of the few artists, IMO, whose live performances are actually better than their studio recordings.

I like Listen to Your Heart, but it plods along too slowly. Needs to be sped up a little.

We have a Hope college by us and someone gave Steve a Hope sweatshirt while he was singing the song. He put it on and pointed to it everytime he sang Somewhere theres Hope Man that was a fun Concert.

No. As a loon, it pains me to say it, but, the CD really IS boring. The live performance is what brings the songs to life. Otherwise, yep....YAWWWWN!

Can’t watch the clip right now, lol – is it from the NY show? Love that concert..

And I agree,, just about everything from Perry is better live,,,

FTLOSM makes me yawn too, lol – but live,,

There are some great live versions of songs like Listen to your Heart out there…

And Stand up,, You better wait,,,
