Yes, but he promises to behave this time.

Well that's a relief :)

You're "disturbed" that "Don't Stop Believin' gets radio play? Are you fucking serious dude? I think you're smoking from the same bong as Michael Phelps! In spite of your affinity for vocabulary, you sound like a bigger jackass with each post!

He is doing okay ... just trying to assert himself on this board ... not unlike anyone else around here. Just needs to tone down his delivery sometimes -- don't come across as a "know-it-all." That's what I tell my teenaged sons all the time, lol.

I always liked "WCTNGOF" because like many others have said, the lyrics just resenate with you and Steve puts so much emotion and soul into the song. Its really sad that the song doesnt get much radio airplay here in Michigan. Come to think about it, here in Michigan I dont hear many ROR songs at all on the radio...maybe once in a while "Ill Be alright without you" and "Girl Cant Help It". I have never heard the top ten hit "Be good to yourself" or the top 20 hit "Suzanne" either. Even though ROR sort of went away from the signature journey sound, more to pop music, there still are some good songs on it.

Due to sheer vocals alone, ROR is phenomenal. It's one of my favorites, despite the fact that Perry ensured the spotlight was fixed solely on him throughout the vast majority of it. Fortunately, he delivered on the goods.
'Nothing was bigger for Journey than 1981’s “Escape” album. “I have to attribute that to Jonathan coming in and joining the writing team,” Steve Perry (Feb 2012).'

JfromB needs to cut Gideon some slack now. G hasn't tried to take on anybody lately, just expressing his opinions.

I got a feeling that if you would actually go through his posts from the last few weeks and see what he has to say about your boy Steve, you'd be the first in line to bitch slap him.

GB, I have watched all his posts since he came back. The way he was taking people on immediately reminded me of that kid Strange Medicine from last year. He and I had a couple of exchanges last week. I thinks this past day or 2 ... he has toned it down considerably. No need to keep calling him out. Give him a break ... he is expressing his opinion ... not being belligerent anymore.

He doesnt need a break, he enjoys the dialogue he provokes. He can give as good as he gets. He's St.John lite.

I think your motherly instincts are rising up because of his suspected age. I'n not jumping on you Annie, I just don't think you need to defend him. He's quite the sharp whitted skamp.

Don't worry about it, Annie. I appreciate the concern, but Andrew was kind enough to give me a lifeline. But it's a thin one. I'm not going to bother flaming anyone, John from Boston included.
