Seriously though, lookin forward to the read. He's a good guy.

was that necessary? many of us are liking the departure from melodic rock. some people need to explore classic rock music and see what they are missing by being stuck in a melodic rock world.

Well, opinions differ.
I can say what i like about any album i like, thanks. If i don't like it i'll say so. It was also done in a little jest, ya know, hence the smiley freakin face.
Secondly i am farrrr from stuck in the world of melodic rock thanks.

WHAAAA??? :?

why would he do that when it is not dreadful? :x did you buy it? have you heard it? more than once and fast forwarded through each song?

oh schutt-now the wigglers is all up in arms. dangerous, WS.

It's dreadful imo.
Didn't buy it as the first one was bad enough and totally overrated, and although this one is totally different, its still shit imo.
Have heard it though, and have tried to get into it on the numerous occasions i have played it. Failure every time.
Appologies that i don't like everything Steve Augeri puts out :)

That was a great interview Andrew...thank you! I'm surprised he was so open about his time with Journey, and it was a great read. He seems like one hell of a stand-up guy. I think he did a hell of a job with Journey, and hated to see him move on. I wish him the best!

Steve Augeri is all class and then some. Glad he's back to normal and enjoying himself. That's what it's all about. Good for him X1,000! Good stuff to hear, Drew, and good luck to Steve in his future music. I'll be listening. :D

Well that was an entertaining read. Absolute respect for SA - top bloke!
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

I doubt there's a nicer guy in the business than Steve Augeri. Good luck to him in his solo endeavor, I'll definitely be buying it. Brilliant job Andrew!

Great interview Andrew. And Mr. Augeri -- all I can say is WOW. The absolute definition of grace. One can't help but root for the guy as well as the band. I wish him continued good health and great success for him and Tall Stories.

Thanks for the interview Andrew! It's great to see someone as nice as Steve Augeri do so well, particularly in such a tough industry where it seems to be the path of least resistance to take the low road. I wish him all of the best in life!

He sounds like he's in a really good place now...good for him. Wish I knew someone as nice as him...if he ever tours again out this way I'd go. Good job, Andrew. :)

Terrific interview Andrew. I've never met a nicer, more courteous, guy in the music industry (or outside it for that matter) and that comes across in the interview. There are no hidden agendas, no one-upmanship, just a humble musician who hasn't forgotten his roots and hasn't got a bad word to say about anybody.
