U2 have signed up to be the house band on David Letterman's US chat show for an entire week.
The slot is to promote the band's new album, No Line On the Horizon, which is due to be released on 2 March.
It is the first time a musical guest on Letterman has been given a whole week on the long-running show. U2 last appeared on the program in 2001.
Get on Your Boots, U2's first single from the new album, opened the Grammy Awards on Sunday.

Much like The Perry era with Journey, I haven't really enjoyed anything past their initial 5 albums but I enjoy those immensely.

Bono could never carry SP's micrphone cable.
It's all about the anthems to me, and Journey has many more than U2.

I hate U2 but would say they have more stadium anthems than almost any other band currently touring. Journey has the superior songs though without question.
Bono really resembles comedian Robin Williams these days too.
