Songs not heard in ages

Not a favorite but came across it today. Haven't heard it since '85.

That's actually really hard to do, because I tend not to think about music I haven't heard in a long time. Eventually thought of one that I remember hearing all the time in the early 80s but I don't think I've heard since.

Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

Toto's I won't hold you back now
I don't enjoy listening to it sometimes, reminds me of a time Dan and I broke up years ago.   I cried over this song more times than I care to remember. Now look at us. Life is funny huh?

The audio coming from that clip is unbelievable! They said its really the 45 but I have my doubts.

Anyway, that's a great tune. One of my fave Santana so I hear it alot.

Hold On

Don't rush me just this once
I want to make this moment last
Slow down the pace, there's no hurry
I can't let another pass by me again
Let me be the one to say when I've had enough

Just let me close my eyes, memorize
The way things are this minute
So when you're gone I can go on
If memory can hold within it what I'm feeling
Should time try fading or stealing something away

CHORUS:
Hold on, nothing's the same
Tell me why I feel this way
Life wouldn't be worth living without you
All along I've been the pretender
But now that's gone forever
Nobody's ever loved me like you do
Nobody's broken through

Got to concentrate, find a way
Every last detail
Don't wanna lose what's going down
I want to remember everything I'm feeling
Should time try fading or stealing something away

Here's a couple of songs I haven't heard in FOREVER! Hey...I didn't say they were great!

Was Not Was-"Walk The Dinosaur"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gyef-BItce8

The Jackson's-"Torture"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mU6P9DBBTHw

I really don't think I've heard "Torture" in 12-13 years! I really racked my brain trying to think of a song I remembered that I hadn't heard in forever. After hearing it...I hate to admit it, but I still like it. Michael was bad-ass back in the day.
