Great tune. It really burns me that Lennon's solo career gets so many props. Sure, his good stuff was pretty good, but some of his shit SUCKED. I actually place Lennon dead last in the solo Beatle column. I like Paul, Ringo, and George in that order (just because Ringo has more songs I love... George can definitely hold his own matching his strong songs with Ringo's). Paul is in a class of his own for me.

Dan and I are both Beatles fans. I am a Paul, George, Ringo, and Lennon fan. And in that order. Lennon lost his mind with letting Yoko sing.  Check out this performance with Chuck Berry. Look at Chuck Berry's face when Yoko starts in: Priceless!

       Holy COW but that was bad! John was talking not singing, his voice blended horribly with Chuck's and Yoko... words fail me. Talk about a woman who needs to be the centre of attention!!
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

Jesus Christ. Chuck looks like someone "checked his oil" while he was trying to play his next riff. Absurd.

     Scary thing is Lennon thought she was a genius when she did this.

Kids... this is your brain on drugs

Agree Yeah, drugs and/or a serious case of untreated syphilis....in the final untreated stages it attacks the brain which would explain alot with Yoko Ono.

As for songs I've not heard in ages, tons but two that come to mind after seeing Ono:

Turning Japanese by the Vapors: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bhSspSOiBJw

Godzilla by Blue Oyster Cult: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4e-jF54ziMY

The other day when playing with my kiddo this song came to my mind...I was trying to sing it & she was like, "huh?" - I haven't heard it since the 80s (maybe, it still plays on some radio station). Shock the monkey: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_oaSZxd9jOY

I remember this clip so well from when I was a kid, and I've only in the last few months been able to work out what the song was and find the clip:

Roger Glover and Ronnie James Dio - Love Is All (Butterfly Ball) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MxGADBBXlDo
