Not any more than you know what his musical plans are for a FACT.
With what you've been saying around here for several months, I'd be careful about demanding facts and proof from other people unless you're willing to pony up, too.

Have you seen the ROR Documentary?madsplash wrote: Mike Baird was a hugely respected studio drummer and was very in demand in the 80's.
He definetely doesn't suck.
Compare him to Smitty and he certainly does suck!madsplash wrote:I get that you didn't appreciate that tour, but saying they sucked is flat out WRONG.
Actually, I beleive "Sucked" is OPINION. Therefore not actually subject to "right or wrong".

Watching a factual performance and judging it is different from knowing what is going to happen.
One is cemented by video and audio and one is speculation.
I love ya, BJGirl, you're right at the top of the list of me to laugh at and ask "you were pretty sure I was wrong, weren't you? Whadda you got to say now?"![]()
I'll accept the same in return if I'm wrong, but I'm not worried about that.

Heard it from a friend who
Heard it from the gardener who
Heard it from his barber Perry’s comin’ around.
They say he’s got some new songs
After we’ve been waiting too long
They're spreading rumors and it's bringin' us down
But we know the neighborhood
And talk is cheap when the story is good
And the rumors grow bigger on down the line
But we gotta lock the door, splash
Because we heard it all before, splash
It might be true but keep this in mind
CHORUS:
You got the wrong approach, baby
You really should have phrased it “maybe”
And we just will not play your game
We can’t believe it, not for a minute
Until it comes from Perry, your weight will just not carry.
You're thinking up your next lines
You’re trying to plant a grapevine
You say it’s coming out, but you won't say when
We all hope it’s coming
Songs as good as “Keep on Running”
But we’re not about to try and hold our breath.
You got the wrong approach, baby
You really should have phrased it “maybe”
And we just will not play this game
We can’t believe it, not for a minute
Until it comes from Perry, your weight will just not carry.
madsplash wrote:So was this ever played live by Journey at any time, with SP or anyone else? Sorry if it's been asked before.
There sure aren't any clips of it anywhere if it ever was.

My problem here was never that I think you're wrong. My problem is that way you're SO arrogant about it, have no proof, and the way you totally talk down to everyone around here, and the way you scream the word FACT on everything.
and p.s. - the BJ girl joke is fucking old and stupid. it was funny ONCE about two years ago.get new material.

Stevew2 is the only one that said he has seen it on the ROR tour (Baltimore or DC) ... none of the many ROR boots I have has that song ... still trying to find the one that Stevew2 went to. SA-era fans said Deen has sung that song in concert. And, Jeremey has sung that song in Frontiers concerts.

I'm not arrogant, just confident, There's a difference and you can't see it and that's fine. How can I have FREAKIN' proof. I've said what I've been told and it'll happen like I say or it won't. That'll be all the proof we'll need.
And it's fucking FACT that the musician's hired by the most particular man in rock music, never sucked. Someone could easily not have liked how they played something and that's fine. But they could not have sucked.
And if you give me another name to address you by, I'll be glad to use it. I wasn't making a joke this time with BJ Girl thing this time, just using your chosen username.
How about HJ Girl? How does that "GRAB YOU"?

Another name? How about what EVERYONE ELSE here calls me, and always has?
And HJ is even less funny. And lame.

Fond as I am of Stevie-Woo, what are the odds he heard it on the radio on the way into the concert, or even on the way out, or even the next morning before the hangover cleared, and now remembers it as being played?![]()
