The guy is an amazing singer and it would be better to focus on what is going on now and in the future, not dragging up year old debates. His tour is expanding across the U.S., he's working on a solo cd. I can't wait to hear what he comes out with in the future.

I don't think any voice would "hold up" the way Journey takes its toll on it. They need to have at least two days off between shows for any vocalist to have a chance to hold up while trying to sing the Journey catalog.

I think JSS is the only who's voice could handle it. I think even AP is going to have trouble now that he has to sing in that range continuously. Since it's not near Jeff's normal range he doesn't have to try and stick so close to that sound. Jeremey and Arnel are expected to sound like Perry so they can't really change it up too much to give themselves a rest.

You just gotta see him live. It's unbelievable. He's out there singing for 2.5 hrs, hitting every single note, and his voice doesn't even come close to cracking once. He nails all the hardest ones like "Ask The Lonely" without even visibly straining for notes (those outro "ASK THE LO-LO-LO-LO-LONELYS are so fuckin hard to sing).

Are you serious? Are you worshiping the guy or something? I've seen enough Youtube videos to know that the guy doesn't walk on water. I don't deny his talent. He's a great singer. However, I've seen several videos of him way oversinging some of the tunes, trying too hard, and sounding strained. Happens to everyone.

I don't see why there couldn't be a possibility of Journey using Jeremey down the road. Jeremey still has respect for Neal, so I'm sure there are no burnt bridges.
