If Ozzfest hadn't been cancelled, you'd figure that was next with the festivals they have been attached to. What's up with dat?

Maybe this is punishment for Arnel singing the Journey ballads with Lani. Imagine singing Open Arms at these festivals, probably end up with a beer bottle being thrown at his head.

I love it though. No more ballads and love songs, time for Journey to rock finally.

Plenty of songs, really. Give Neal more face time, much of the crowd will love it, guaranteed.

As long as there is no mention of faded photographs, sad cafes or forever yours, they should be okay.

It could honestly be a good way to give them more credibility with this crowd too. Some of the fans will have preconceptions that will be blown away if they play their cards right. Imagine knowing only DSB or OA and getting nailed with Kohoutek to start things off, or even Edge/Chain Reac

You're absolutely right. Neal is probably lovin' this. People and Places would be a nice retro touch, even though not hard rock.

....If they don't take this as an opportunity to at least play their harder, older, and more obscure tunes... they're nucking futs.

Wow, that is a a weird festival for Journey. I guess they will have to span their horizons and start singing songs that they usually dont sing a whole lot live. Journey does have a huge catalog so they should not have any trouble playing harder rock hits. Songs like "Stone in Love", "Only the Young", "Dont Stop Believen", "Anytime", "Escape", "Mother Father", "Any way you want it", "Ask the lonely", "Wheel in the sky", "Be Good to yourself", "Seperate Ways", "The Party's over", "Girl Cant Help It", and a few new songs, along with maybe a ballad or two would be good.

This might work in Journey's favor and maybe they will open up their audience more and expand their listeners.

I didnt realize that Guns n Roses are going on tour either.
