I think Journey already paid a big price for Arnel's Foundation.![]()

This is probably to recognize that Journey also has their own charities here in the states since they have always supported childrens charities.
I always thought all AP needed to do was get his bandmates to donate the proceeds from one concert to his foundation and the foundation would get a lot more than all his solo appearances combined.![]()

Legendary rock band Journey will headline the first-ever “Walk N’ Rock for Kids” benefit concert May 23 at Raley Field, part of a day-long effort to raise money for seven children-oriented charities.
The Hope Productions Foundation — created by IntelliQuote chief executive officer Gary Lardy and Hanson McClain partner Pat McClain — aims to increase awareness and raise money for seven nonprofit groups in the region. The groups are Boys and Girls Club of Greater Sacramento, CASA El Dorado, Keaton Raphael Memorial, Okizu, People Reaching Out, River Cats Foundation and WIND Youth Services.
A 5K walk, which will begin and end at the stadium in West Sacramento, starts at 8 a.m. May 23, with charities recruiting teams to raise funds. Journey will perform at 8 p.m. to close the day-long fundraiser.
The foundation is “kicking off its national effort in Sacramento with a high-profile event that supports several worthy local charities that, with a little extra help and resources, can take their efforts to the next level and achieve greater success,” Hope Productions CEO Debbie Gabelich said in a news release.
Journey, which recently released its latest CD, has two gold, three platinum and eight multiplatinum albums during its 31-year career.

Sac is my hometown... I might go to this!

Well like I said I think you have to do the walk itself to get into the show.

However, I won't be attending unless it includes Mr. Perry. So no need for ME to stand in line. I thought it was interesting that they were playing this one. But in all fairness, good for them for supporting children's charities.

Well, that really keeps it simple; you are a SP fan, not a Journey fan.

Put the shoe on the other foot for a second. Are new fans that only own Revelation and won't buy the older albums because Arnel isn't singing on them Journey fans? Why don't you go take a poll and get back to us.
