Damn. It seems like the same 80's bands tour over and over and over. Styx, Journey, REO, .38 Special, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Def Leppard, Cheap Trick, Poison, Motley Crue, Rush, Sammy Hagar, Van Halen, etc. I have seen these bands so many times that I am no longer excited when I hear about them coming to town again. It seems like they put on a tour every year! (Well, I guess when band members hit the age of 60 they'd better put on as many as they can.)
How about some more breakout concert tours like The Police and Van Halen/DLR did? I'm sick of seeing/hearing the same old faces playing the same old tunes. I know there has to be more than a dozen of these bands out there that could put a tour together.
Can you think of any good 80's bands that could tour and haven't?
