No photos just yet and we have one video but that is one made by a fan and it really is just a vocal trax of Steve Perry and I trading the Lead vocal on Open Arms...of course we were not really trading vocals together...One day maybe...if Im lucky! I love Journey always have and I do my best to represent Steve Perry with all that I have and I hope one day soon to be able to say I make a living bringing the music of Journey to people who cherish the music and the voice!
Tell me what you think!

Lost concert tour as in, "never happened", not as in "lost and packed away on a shelf", well that's what I believe he is saying.

Yeah dude thanks...That is exactly what I meant. I wanted to see that tour so bad that I am working on bringing a tribute of it out on the road! I'm sure there are a few of us Journey fans that would love to see that!

Thanks for the comments. yeah I rushed the recording as I tried to cover 10 songs in two hours...not quite rich and famous yet! We are heading back in to record some more but this time we are going to focus more on four songs and get them perfect. We will be playing message of love, castles burning, one more and when you love a woman as the TBF songs in the show, but also all of the great Journey songs people love!
Special??? who doesnt need a hug per day?I try to get one everydayYou are weird baseing your concert tour on something that never happened , or was even intended to happen. Do the dozen and throw in the two songs that people might have heard from that Cd, Message of love and When you love a Women, anything else people will be pissing and buying beers as fast as Friga head towards the boys room.Thats what people did when I saw Journey do that shit .You are a good ass singer, just dont be retarded and think the masses love the music of Journey like we do.They want the fuckin hits and will tolerate a little new shit if it rocks, which some of it does.I hope yoor keyboard player is straight by the wayVladan wrote:eshepherd2000 wrote:Vladan wrote:stevew2 wrote:There was no concert tour for TBF are you stoned???eshepherd2000 wrote:Hey All I just found this forum and I wanted to share with you news about my band that is about to launch real soon. Not a problem, it was pretty clear to me. stevew is a special person, you know the type that "requires a hug a day, special". He's good value though, thanks.
when is your fuckin party sarge?G.I.Jim wrote:Hey man,
I think you guys sound great! as the former keyboardist of Frontiers, I can tell you that you definitely have something here. I think you have a great texture and tone to your vocals that are similar to Perry's, but you really don't have (at least from what I've heard) any real vibrato. That's not a terrible thing though (it's worked for Phil collins and several others!). You have great pitch and tone to your voice though, and I think it makes up for it.
I'd love to catch you guys sometime...I'm right here in Columbia SC. Keep me posted!

Awesome... Can't Tame The Lion, If He Should Break Your Heart, and Forever In Blue would be VERY welcome additions if you guys can pull them off. Definitely some tough harmonies on some of those.

We do "If he should break your heart and will probably put that in the rotation but as Steve, our Special friend put it...Journey has a lot of great tunes and we need to be selective as to what we play. We do about a two hour show and play about 30 songs...so its a full night!

Thanks for the constructive words...I really just want to honor Perrys work...What a great singer that man is! Why are you no longer with Frontiers...They are coming to Charlotte in March...Im gonna check them out...Their singer is amazing!

I have my own personal reasons for leaving Frontiers, but one reason was having to travel out of town a lot on the weekends. A lot of the shows I played with them were in Georgia or North Carolina. I live here in SC, but the rest of the band live up in Virginia (the old members of Frontiers that is). I don't really know anything about the new members other than the fact that the new guitarist doesn't play a lot of Neal's chops, and plays with a shoe.![]()

My first gig with them was in front of about 550 people in Charlotte. I had to learn the songs in about 2 1/2 weeks after accepting Jeremey's offer. I never practiced or rehearsed with the band one time, and was a nervous wreck during that 1st show!It went off without a hitch, and is still my favorite memory of playing with the guys. I quit after 8 or 9 months-my shortest gig with a band. As I said, I don't know anything about the new guys, but I wish the old guys the best, and I still talk to Barry quite often.

I hope that cleared some of that up for you, and I wish you guys the best with your music too! You're sounding great already.

One thing that boggles is if a band's good enough to tribute Journey, why not create a new band with a Journey sound and start making new music?
