I used to hear Steve Perry comparisons several times a week a few years ago when my hair was a bit longer. I actually cut my hair because I got tired of the comparisons. Too bad I don't sound like him

Eight years ago when I was going to university and working in a bookstore, I overheard some teenagers giggling saying I looked like Shannon Elizabeth. I couldn't get mad, because I didn't know who that was and whether it was an insult or a compliment. It turned out to be a compliment, although I don't see the resemblance. Must have been my long hair. Perhaps I should grow it out again :lol:

No, no, no, not that MADD character! Yipes, that character used to creep me out as a kid....and, then the weirdest thing. When I was dating my husband an old friend of his dad's came to visit and kept calling husband by that character's name (which I have blotted from memory apparently) and I couldn't understand why...until I saw a school pic of husband as a kid and damn if he didn't look like the spittin' image of that maynard! I was afraid of what our children would look like...thankfully, that didn't happen. Anyway, husband somehow changed from looking like that kid.
