I'm hoping maybe someone will post someone or a song I haven't heard before..like J28 mentioning Colin James. I had heard a couple of his but was not very familiar with him so I enjoyed listening to more of his stuff on youtube today and plan on picking up some of his music now. (thanks J28)Peartree12249 wrote:Wow great thread, I love the blues, so it's really hard to pick just one or two favorites but here goes:

That sounds like what I call "root" music. Heck of a harp player.Peartree12249 wrote:Blueskies wrote:I love the blues too. Here is something by a guy folks in the Chicagoland and SE Wisconsin area might be familiar with. His name is Corky Siegel and he's and excellent blues harp player. I first heard him back in the 70's when he played with the Siegel-Schwall Blues Band. Couldn't find any video of the band, but here's one of him playing one of his old songs.

Here he is as I first saw him minus the bald spot![]()

Find me video for "Stay"!! I was trying that for the "Melancholy Music" thread a while back...no luck!
Sorry...I dug around on youtube and couldn't find it. The only thing I found was this link for the album it's on "Then Again"....
...not the whole song but there is a sound sample of "Stay"....
