I got nothing against snow and loved it as a kid growing up outside Philly, but I'm not missing it. Thanks for the pics though. Repost them on Christmas Eve.
Only reason I shared them was because it is so rare here. No I don't enjoy driving in it, we came back from Jonesboro and three cars were in the ditch. But once we were home it was a lovely sight to see. Kind of late in the year, and we were not expecting it at all. Nice treat!
On another topic: I was in Jonesboro at a coffee place, I was drawing and relaxing when some little girl came over and started watching me draw. So politely I asked her if she liked art. She said yes, and continued to watch me quietly.
Now I am never bothered by people watching me, but then she brought over her mom. Her mom mind you looks like an anorexic Sandy Duncan. She said oh how nice! Honey you can sit right at her table and watch her draw and talk to her! Then mom took off before I could say anything!
Next thing I know the little girl brings over little sister, and I have two watching me. Both children have brought over their drinks and neither drink has a lid. So they start arguing and bumping the table I am trying to draw on, and asking me if I like Yugeo, and about 50 other questions.
The table is being jostled around, and I can forsee one of their drinks might spill on my artwork, so I start to pack up. Then they wanted their older teanage brother to see..........Oh joy.......
I spied Dan and asked him if he wanted to go get something to eat, he said sure. So I packed up my stuff, bid the girls goodbye and hastily left the table.
Their brother started to follow me a part of the way to where Dan was standing. His friend joined him and he said "Dude, that lady is
the bomb!"
That made my day!
Thank goodness for the little girls, if we had not left then, the roads would have been much worse.
