Great clip Sherri. Thanks for that. I do love Pat too.

It's always hard comparing singers and I try to avoid it, it's pretty subjective, but I simply love Ann Wilson for many reasons and listen to her more often than Pat.

I have no problem comparing them. Ann gets a lot of attention for her great voice, so rightly deserved. Pat's not as visible anymore but what a talent she was/is.

I realize Debbie Harry isn't in their league but wanted to mix it up a little. Maybe Chrissie Hind would've been a better choice for women rock singers of the late 70's, early 80's. Great as she is, Hind's more attitude than talent to me. Still love her but in comparison with Pat or Ann, she's in the same boat as Harry, nowhere near them.

I just find Pat more listenable. Maybe 'cause she has so many more hits as Niggy mentioned. Maybe Geraldo's kickin' riffs meshing with ther voice?

In comparisons I take it this way. Between two artists, if I had to choose for the rest of my life to never hear their songs again which would it be?

Benatar has too many great songs so she stays in the mix for me.

Well, I'd hate to have to choose just one. LOL I think Debbie Harry is just such a different singer than Ann and Pat, it's hard to compare. I don't own any Blondie records, but there are some of her/their songs that bring back MANY memories when I hear them.

Honestly, if I had to pick ONE female singer to listen to for the rest of my life it would have to be Linda Ronstadt. She's done so many different genres of music that I'd have a good variety to listen to. I don't think there's any female vocalist as versatile as Linda and who has proven it more often.

You do have great taste in music though StoneCold.

It's her 30th Anniversary tour, I don't know if she wants be an opening act. Patty Smyth and Terri Dunn opened for her when I saw her last year.

Hands down...Benatar...she IS the queen!

She would never be an opening act again anyway. She HATED opening for Styx in 97'
