Love him or hate him? I think he needs to shut his damn mouth. His inflammatory, blatantly offensive remarks are the last thing this country needs right now. BTW, keep it civil please.

I don't see how anyone could love him anymore than someone could love Satan. He's an arrogant fatass drug addicted bigot. What is there to love?

My thoughts exactly. Republicans need to put a lid on him because the party will die if they don't. I wonder if he'll spew hate towards this administration when the economy turns around.

Don't hate him, but don't love him. Too over the top for me. But it is not fair to say we can have no voices of opposition to what is going on in the country. Not everyone embraces the massive spending and pork as a great thing. Free speach. Like it or not. I don't like Howard Stern, but some people love him, I just don't tune in. :)

Libs have been saying this for years. It won't happen because of him. It'll happen because Republicans are no better than Democrats.

True. I don't think Michael Moore does a lot of favors for the democrats. Does Ann Coulter lean that way or is she more conservative?

He's no worse than anyone the extreme leftists have to offer. Thing is he's not a bonafide policy maker or some official spokesman. He's an entertainer. He makes a living out of keeping himself in the news. I for one applaud Limbaugh on his sensationlism and his ability to keep himself in the spotlight. This very poll - on a music website - is evidence of that.

I love it when some tv hack makes such am impact. Conservative or liberal, you don't have to agree with them and you certainly don't have to watch or listen to them. Knowing their drivel, is somewhat of an admission, no?

I don't think he's made an impact anymore than any other cult leader has. It's just baffling to watch his duped followers rubber-stamp every word he says. I get a good laugh out of it.

And that's the very point - you keep up with him, no? That's the impact he wants. His rantings, his notorioty, his whatever, keeps you (& a lot of others) watching and listening...which keeps his ratings up.
If he was sooooo bad, we'd ignore him.

The problem is that he is so vocal and loud with his opinions they are impossible to ignore. Every time you turn on the TV some talking head is bitching about what he said. Kind of getting sick of it myself, don't know about everybody else.

shut his damn mouth...whatever happened to free speech, you have to amend the constitution to do that, the problem in this country is moral decay. demise in morality equals demise in society. one horrid example is abortion...what rights do we have to kill an innocent person...life begins at conception and science can back this up for people who don't believe in religion. why the heck is the lacy peterson case a double murder???? and another thing i voted yes on prop 8 in california in banning same sex marriage and i'm glad it won. screw sean penn! rush limbaugh...i don't hate him but i don't love him either!

What does one do, when a 9 year old girl is raped? - when her body has not fully developed to be able to have the child with all the risks involved. Or say, if a family members impregnates his own daughter? I mean, there are so many different scenarios here and it's a delicate subject. Unless people are in the situation, I believe they really need shut their pie holes and mind their business, because they are either A) too ignorant to understand, or B) simply have not lived through the hard times to fully comprehend the subject. Personally, I mind my own business, and worry about my own backyard first.

Republicans don't have any more control over Rush than Democrats do. Rush is THE rock of conservatism. The last thing he is, is a "yes man" for any party. He blasted Bush over outrageous spending, the steel embargo, illegal immigration and many other things. Obama's "stimulus package" is not a stimulus at all. It's goal is not to turn the economy around. Its goal is to acquire assume more power for the federal gov't and create even more dependent voters for the Democrat party.

Do you ever wonder why Obama doesn't seem to recall the Carter recession? Or Reagan slashing tax rates across the board which fueled the prosperity of the 80's and 90's?

Enjoy your extra $18 a week.(or whatever it is) If I were you I'd put it in the bank, because it's basically a tax credit since your tax rates haven't been reduced. Meaning you're going to have to pay it back. If you don't believe me ask whoever prepares your tax returns  Oh how generous our president is!!!

I just sit there and say Michael Moore's an idiot and don't watch him or his stuff. I'm with Dave, it's funny how mad people get. No one likes him and he's an idiot for all to see, or he truly does wield influence and that's what worries the libs... which is it? Can't really have it both ways, even though many seem to want that to be the case.

It just sad that a radio host would be a party's strongest representative, democrat or republican ...
And its easy not to be a "yes man" , when you have no responsibilities. Sure he can blast any president, but what good does it do. Could he handle it if he was in the office? Fuck no. Same goes for Michael Moore.
Theyre both idiots trying to get involved in politics when they both chose a completely different career.

+1 IMO most politicians are more interested in getting re-elected than doing what's right for the country. If Sean Penn has the right to go on the Oscars, an nonpolitical event and espouse his beliefs regarding gay marriage, then Rush has the right to express his views. I am by no means a Rush fan, I think he's a big gas bag, but he's entitled to his views. And thank God we live in a country where we have the right to listen or turn off the radio as we choose.

Good. I hope it stays that way, because it will keep Republicans out of office. Rush is hated with a passion by most Americans, and for good reason. He is a self-absorbed bigot.

I may agree more with Michael Moore than I do with Dumbaugh, but I would never call Moore the "rock of liberalism". Moore does not represent the Democratic Party. But at least he comes up with intelligent arguments. Dumbaugh just opens his ignorant fat mouth and says stuff like "I hope Obama fails" without any concern for our country whatsoever. He forgets to remind people that Dumbya is the one who caused all of this mess. People voted out the Republican Party, and Dumbaugh is just a drug-addicted fatass sore loser.

I hate to say it but free speech is becoming an illusion thanks to the Patriot Act and the obsession of being politically correct among other things. We have to walk on egg shells any more to avoid offending a person/group or to keep ourselves out of the government's crosshairs.
