I saw the "front" first...but then it morphed to the back, then front again.....I'm a freak. :oops:


No you're not, Nora. Same thing happened to me... but it didn't morph. It flipped fast. I keep seeing it at the front at first then it moves. Clearly that rat bastard red dot is involved somehow. But the yellow at the back seems to be dominant, I think.

Yellow was dominate for me and in the back...then I focused on the red dot and it changed to in the front. Am I loony?

Based on structure and format, the yellow is in the front, but that red dot makes me want to see the yellow in the back. :?

on first look clockwise.....upon staring at the shadow of her feet at the bottom it switched to counter clockwise. :?:

If I look at numbers on my desk or something 'logical' & look at her I see counter-clockwise, then if I look at something like a colorful photo and look back she is spinning clockwise! But, still I can be looking at her and she switches back and forth on her own.



I think you are on to something. I think it depends on what you were doing prior to viewing the picture.....

I finally got the image to flip. So now I can make it go the RIGHT WAY!! ;)


As for the box, at first glance the yellow was in the bac for me. But that one is easy to reverse.

Exactly, I see clockwise, but I think I'm more aligned to the left brain stuff.
I can, however, see it counter-clockwise, but only if I start with peripheral vision (moreso right periphery than left) and move toward the center. But even then it doesn't last long. She quickly spins back clockwise.

This is really interesting.

Right. By looking at her foot shadow you can make her switch direction easier. Reading the comments on the original article is funny...one person said the figure isn't moving at all! Apparently, it isn't a real test of the left/right brain, but rather perception.

I just made it flips 5 times AT WILL.....If you look directly where the shadow of the foot, and the foot come together, and kinda of zone out like with those computer generated pictures they used to have(3D)....it'll keep switching....WOW! :shock: :shock: :shock:

I think this test is a good example of when people can only see "their way" and think everyone else is nuts from their point of view (ya know, like what happens on Journey message boards..lol.)

I never could see the hidden images in those 3D pics years ago...apparently, I have no depth perception due to wonky eyes. :(
