I see it both ways. Switches back-and-forth in mid-spin.

I can't make it change for anything. I looked at it peripherally, I looked at the shadow, I focused, I unfocused, I did a rain dance... it only moves clockwise for me.

I can get it to change by closing one eye.

When the 'real' foot almost goes behind and out of sight, don't presume its going to keep going...kind of trick your mind into thinkng its coming around from the other side(coming back at you).

That's the best I can explain it...... :?

That is pretty fuckin cool. At first I seen it rolling counter clock wise for a rev or two. From there every time her leg hit the 12 position she would change rotation, weird. I took different test a couple of years back that showed I was balanced from one side to the other. Weird!

Try this - cover up the upper part of her body, so that you only see the legs. Then, force your brain to see the legs start spinning in the opposite direction. It's easier to switch your perspective back and forth this way.

Also, the whole "right brain / left brain" bit is not applicable. It's just an optical illusion. :)

[
quote="tammy"]I keep seeing her spinning both ways, she switches as I'm watching, which was making me think they purposely did that, but some people are only seeing it one way only & even trying hard can't see it the other direction. I once took an online left/right brain and scored as right down the middle - so maybe, this is the same...I'm well-balanced! lol.
[/quote] I see her going both ways also.

The golden rule, lefty loosy, righty tighty. The leading edge of rotaion is the toes. Rotation is clockwise in my eye.

OK...Now I can see her spin the other way, counter-clockwise.

However...I am still fascinated by the obvious nipples.

Clockwise, I am also left handed. So I already knew I am geared to the right side of the brain. Nothing too suprising! :D

I saw it definitely clockwise at first

If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa.
Maybe that's why I never really could make it as a astrophysicist...lol
I can't even spekk...see Deano there is a reason for it....

Then I could see counterclockwise

Now all I see is clockwise again....

Then it was countercockwise a few times then in mid turn rotated clockwise again

Guess I am more right brained but can switch sides

Thank, that WAS fun!

What's even stranger is that at one time w my first quartz crystal I got in my early teens.
In my early 20's someone did this test with me. With my eyes closed & the crystal rotated above my outstretched palm either clockwise or counterclockwise...
I could actually feel it & call out the rotation with 100 percent accuracy.

It was so eeery & strange that I have never done it again probably for fear I lost the gift so if I did I don't want to know.

Try this...scroll with your mouse up and down, up and down...does she change directions then? I see her changing back and forth as I move the mouse! Whereas I intially saw her clockwise, when I came back to this thread she was counter-clockwise. But, really tell yourself she IS spinning in the opposite direction and it will happen.

Started counter clockwise then she switched to clockwise. Can't get her to switch back. Tried the mouse thing.. didn't work for me.

(Haven't clicked on the link yet.)

I initially sensed a clockwise movement. After coming across a post saying otherwise, I've "forced" her to spin the other way around with some struggle lol. Still, thinking it could be pure coincidence as the image might've been so animated as to alternately rotate in both directions, I tried "forcing" perceptions at random points, and strangely indeed, things worked...almost at will.

Odd.
