Bad English

Got a chance, or bored I put on my blog what I thought of Bad English and their cds. And how they compared to Journey.

Tough question. I went for Backlash. Not technically a great singer (Gideon I know) but John Waite t has a way of putting across a song that is totally convincing.

Backlash only has "So This Is Eden" and "Straight to Your Heart." Excellent songs, but the debut album had better material.

I've been a huge supporter and fan of Bad English since their first song hit the radio. With that said...I really liked the first album, but I LOVE Backlash. I like it because of the darker, more serious tone of the album. I wish Perry had sung several of those songs, as he's always in his element singing those minor notes. I have the "Lost tapes", and honestly...other than a couple of songs, I think it sucked. Probably best that they didn't release it! :wink:

You really think the Lost tapes are Bad English material and not mostly Waite solo stuff? I can only hear Schon in a couple of songs.
