Yeah, Neal has combined them.
Starts off with Revelation, ends with Majestic.

Tito: They did nothing wrong in letting go ANY singers.

Dean
No? Well they used Augeri, made him do the inexplicable, and then let him take the heat. Then they formerly hired Jeff Scott Soto, signed him, and then went behind his back and looked for other singers while he was still in their employ. Not only that, they let JSS go to Europe and wrap up tours with is former band, which Jeff did professionally, while they searched for replacements secretly here. They are a spineless bunch, all of them, especially, Azoff, Schon and most of all, Friga. They did not once call or text, or even fucking email Soto. Kevin Cronin is the one who mentioned it to him while he was in Europe! How professional of Journey!

Tito:

Augeri didn't have to if he didn't want to. Should they have cancelled those shows in Europe, probably. But they didn't. I ain't losing sleep either way. As far as Jeff Scott Soto, fuck him already. How many more years do I have to listen to this piss and moaning. No one cares about him. As far as Azoff. You should read the Sun Times article on him yesterday. You'll like it.

Tito : No big deal. A lot of bans use bg vocals.

Dean: We're not talking backing vox Einstein. We are talking full fledged lead singing vocals being mimed to a fucking tape. Both Augeri and your hero Jonathan Friga, lipped their songs.

Sour grapes? You don't care that a rock band used tapes to fool thousands of fans and take their hard earned money for a fraudulent act huh? That's right, a while back, you advocated the use of tapes for Pineda when he was struggling, and IIRC, you were ok with tapes.

Tito; See above. But I would add. Did those fans enjoy the shows and did not know they were lipping? I would say the fans enjoyed the shows and didn't know. A good time was had by all - which is the most important thing. There ain't no Santa Claus either, but I still have good childhood memories of Christmas.

Tito: Who cares if they get a cut of the I Love Access tix, that's the point, dummy. They didn't come up with the concept either. Bands that don't use I Love Access, have fan club tickets - would you prefer that route or would you just complain about that too.

Dean: Moron, can you not read? Irving Azoff runs a professional scalper system. He puts tickets up for sale and in 4 minutes, they show :"sold out" but available on his sister site Tickets Now for 300% the face. Bruce called him on it and got his fans money back. Azoff is a snake. Go read up on it, your misinformed ass is being embarrassed.

More Tito idiocy: Smart business move. It's about time they got smart. I would rather the artist get the money, than some shade ball ticket scalper. If you don't like the price, don't pay for the ticket. The market will determine the price. This is no big deal to me at all. I'm sure in the future, it will become even more of an auction for seats. They do a little of it now, but you watch in time, all the seats (at least the good ones) will be auctioned off. By the way, it sounds like you have more of problem with Azoff than Journey. Again, there not the first to do it and not the only ones.

Tito: What lies in interviews? Could it be just their side of the story and could that at least, on occasion, also be the truth.

Dean: I wish you knew what you are talking about. There isn't an ounce of truth in anything they have publicly said i the last 4 years.

Tito: Says who? Your sources? They ain't lied to me. I pay to go see them once a year and bought a new CD last year. I haven't seen anything that was proven wrong in any interview. Where have they lied to me.

Dean: I don't need sources. I am the source. I know what did and didn't happen. This is me in the first person, not some bullshit hearsay.

Tito: SteveW never makes sense.

Well, he seems to get the Journey story a helluva lot better than you do.

Tito: I see I fucked up using the quote function like others did.

Dean: It's not that fucking hard.

There, fixed. let's see how others weigh in.

The one line that jumps out at me is Tito saying,. Did those fans enjoy the shows and did not know they were lipping? I would say the fans enjoyed the shows and didn't know.

Wow. Just..wow.

I don't think they'd get away with playing all this stuff in the US. Too bad for us. The US audience has the attention span of 6 year olds and so to actually LISTEN to something they might not've heard before would be just too taxing for them.

Hope there IS a DVD of the entire show.

LD- Maybe I missed this being mentioned earlier, but these songs aren't tuned down. Cool.
That's an interesting strategy, tune down for some shows and not for others. Wonder what the deciding factor is there.

Yes, they are! I don't know what everyone else is hearing, but every one of these songs was tuned down. Maybe I'm going deaf, but I am really disappointed by the entire performance.

I couldn't hear it really being out of tune to tell you the truth. I will say that the most hyped song that everyone wanted to here, TDTWT was, I think the worse performance of the night, but that had more to do with the backround vocals.

Because he sings with such force and considering his age, I give AP one more year before his voice starts going through serious trauma without them doing some kind of change up on the high tenor material in the setlist. They need to gradually include more ROR stuff I think where he can back off a little. I always feel like his eyes are going to pop out when he starts going for the really high notes, it's scary looking.

They don't know the songs? Come on. They bought that fuckin cd the day it came out.

The Fil-Ams here did. I don't know how many Filipinos over there did.

Revelation had actually gone platinum (in the Phils.) before the Manila concert. Barely have a clue on the quantity sold...quite sure though that the figure was way lower than the 1-M RIAA threshold, considering that the sales requirement is proportionate to a country's population.

Look at the 1:43 mark. Arnel runs up to Neal, and he points and it looks like he's saying "get over there somewhere and leave me alone!"
