Postby Carla777 » Tue Mar 17, 2009 2:03 pm

For those who enjoy the JLT solo projects, well there is some news about a JLT project called SUNSTORM, the first album was released in 2006, and i really enjoy it, great AOR and hard rock sound, for those who don't know anything about this band yet..well here are some tunes from their first record. (in this project were involved Dennis Ward and Jim Peterik, can't go wrong with their collaboration) :)

Don't hold your breath on that Gordon, Blackmore seem very happy in his own project with his wife, and the new age music; but the good news is that JLT is involved now in Over the Rainbow, kind of a Rainbow reunion, with ex members from the band, and there is a Blackmore in the band, but no ritchie himself, instead is his son Jurgen Blackmore

I wish that Rainbow come back too, but it dont seem is gonna happen soon..maybe Ritchie is too in love right now

ps. ohh what men do for women

I found this Ritchie B. performance with his wife (Blackmore's Night), playing a Deep Purple classic Child in Time...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ORjvW6z ... re=related

 i must recognize that Candice voice is nice, and she is also absolutly gorgeous, but her voice don't have the spirit from the Gillan performance, seem like a happy pretty tune, instead of have the dramatic heartrendering Gillan screams that make justice to the dark lyrics of this song; Blackmore guitar sound good like always but without passion in my opinion.

I'm glad that Blackmore still is in the music bussiness..but why ritchie.. why?
