I don't think they'd get away with playing all this stuff in the US. Too bad for us. The US audience has the attention span of 6 year olds and so to actually LISTEN to something they might not've heard before would be just too taxing for them.

I may be wrong because I haven't checked these with a guitar, but all these are in the right key. The shows in Japan were definitely 1/2 step lower but these sound correct to me. Since this will be a DVD release I seriously doubt that they would drop the key. Anyone checked these with a guitar?

i checked they are in "regular" tuning. plus all of you who have heard these songs for years SHOULD be able to tell if its tuned down as soon as you hear it. half step down has a totally different sound/feeling

I took that with a grain of salt. He chose to take the high road and not make it an issue. I'm sure he's not happy with what went down. He's also legally bound to shut the piehole! I think he's a great guy, and it's just sad what happened. I blame all involved, right down to the musicians. It was a bad decision, and they all knew.
