Not if they lay their facts, their sources, or better still, their logic on the table. Like Stu, for example.

You were led around by the nose during the election, spreading pernicious shit such as “Except that [Obama] doesn't much like our constitution... “
What’s to make anyone believe you were suddenly endowed with Cylon free will?
You should just go ahead and add “I hope he fails” as your new sig.
Kinda like the retarded “Sarah!” one you had before Palin outed herself as an Elly May Clampett white trash whore. We know that’s how you feel anyway.

WTF is up with that statement? Was it really necessary? Yeah...she married her high school sweetheart....what a freaking WHORE! That was a pathetic, and very ignorant statement.

If Sean Hannity ordered you to round up all liberals and put them on a red eye to Auschwitz, you’d click your 800 dollar pair of Gucci heels, throw out your right arm, and scream "SIEG HEIL, MEIN FUHRER!!!"

About that...

I'm not an expert in the realm of politics. I think an accurate study and comprehension in that particular field would eventually consume you and turn you into one, lol. I don't think I have the patience or level of comprehension to fully learn. But in my personal opinion, the President should have a little more awareness and control than to make a comment like that.

...On the other hand, if he does, I don't believe we should make a horrendous deal about it. I think we, perhaps, as a society are too easily offended. We should have thick skin. Especially since it was said in jest and not an orchestrated attack against the mentally handicapped.

Then again, I'm not a relative or friend of a mentally handicapped person.

I agree about being overly sensitive about his comment. I'm not THAT offended as I know he didn't mean anything by it. I was just raising the point that for someone to slam Palin and call her "redneck whore" or whatever he said... at least look at the dumbass comments and decisions his choice for president is making. We're in for some really hard times folks, and his endless checkbook is going to ruin this country. You can't spend more than you're worth as a country, and you can't just print limitless bills in the pressing plants. Our dollars aren't going to be worth SHIT in a very short period of time. :(

Funny.
There was none of that in sight as Palin provoked mob violence labeling two different human being (with families) "terrorists."
Palin made Americans moistly nostalgic for the days of Dan Quayle. Now THAT's saying something.
If you want to defend her imbecilic Minnie Pearl hee-haw ass, that's your prerogative.
Don’t impose it on other free-thinking patriotic Americans

Bet you would've loved it if McCain had said it!
Frankly, I think Obama didn't go far enough.
If I had my way, he would've violently slapped his hand to his chest, rolled his eyes back into his skull, and started drooling as Eubanks provided the obligatory ba-DUMP-ching drumcrash.

As pointed out previously, Obama's actions on the banking front are actually to the right of lifelong free marketeer Alan Greenspan, who wants FULL OUT nationalization.
If anything, Obama has been too tepid.

Too late for that.
If spending's what's needed to prime the pump of economic growth, then we gotta do it.
Besides, as Darth Cheney famously said: "Reagan proved deficits don't matter."

I just read this on MSNBC, and had to post this quote from Obama...

Obama and his aides have begun an aggressive effort for the president's budget that contains many of his campaign promises. The core projects are providing affordable health coverage, improving education and diversifying the nation's energy supply with a focus on so-called green jobs.

Facing some political pressure to scale back all of his priorities, the president said energy innovation cannot wait. Progress itself can take years, he said.

"Sometimes you have to fail before you can succeed," he said. "And often it takes not just the commitment of an innovator, but the commitment of a country to innovation. Often what's required is the support of government."

So I'm basically taking from this that even if it causes us (as a country) to fail....he's going to push his environmental bills and make us "innovative". Where in his "core projects" list is the freaking economy? Who gives a shit about Americans who need work...we're going to save trees and the planet...that's our priority. Al Gore must be grinning from ear to ear right now. This really makes me sick to my stomache to read crap like this.

The only time you've given Stu props is when he agrees or sort of agrees with you. Anyone who intellectually and honestly vehemently disagrees with you is automatically swathed with one of your catchy little, and typically homoerotic, epithets.

Don't bother..It's probably from page 1 of the leftist ideology playbook..."When faux-logic fails, simply refer to said opponent as stupid, retarded, braindead, etc., and throw down the racism card for good measure". It's typical considering he also used Palin's innocent "backwoods retarded" baby as a prop in his dollar store freakshow.

TNC...Dude, are you going off the deep end or something? You've been even more narcissistic than usual over the last few weeks.

It is ONE day of big gains...but the last 2 weeks the gains have been in SPITE of the President, because the market was way over sold.

If we repeat the gains, then I would put more faith in what is going on. Though experience tells me the market with give back a large portion tomorrow because people will cash out their recent gains.

Let's see how it's looking in 6 months or a year. THEN you can call us bitches you HO! I honestly hope he does succeed, but the way the man is blowing through more money than this country will ever earn scares the shit out of me. They are going to run the wealthy out of this country (or at least their wealth), and who are the wealthy? They're the people who invent, innovate and create jobs. His philosophy of punishing the man (or woman) for being successful is behaving the exact opposite of what made this country great to begin with!

I was always taught growing up that if you work hard, you CAN succeed. Key word being CAN. That doesn't mean if I can't paint a painting worth a million dollars that the government OWES me a million dollars. It might simply mean that I tried something that I wasn't successfull at. Either that, or someone else did it better than me. It doesn't entitle me to a damn thing other than the chance to try it again, OR try something else that I might be better at.

Poll of change: Obama’s job approval slipping to ‘50-50’

By Joe Dwinell

Monday, March 23, 2009 -

The honeymoon is over, a national poll will signal tomorrow as President Obama’s job approval stumbles to about 50 percent over the lack of improvement with the crippled economy.

The sobering numbers come as the president backpedals from two prime-time gaffes - one comparing his bowling score to a Special Olympian and another awkwardly laughing about the economy, which prompted Steve Kroft of “60 Minutes” to ask “are you punch-drunk?”

Pollster John Zogby said his poll out in the morning will show Americans split on the president’s performance. He said the score factors out to “about 50-50.”

On one hand... we're not even through the first 100 days in office, so all this carrying on seems unnecessary... of course things haven't changed yet, and who are these people who expected the economy to turn on a dime? Patience is a virtue. This is not to say that we should hang around for 8 years patiently waiting for improvement... but give it more than 60 days.

On the other hand... I'm getting a little annoyed with Obama's prioritization. Fix this shit, THEN go hang around on the damn Tonight Show and play your NCAA brackets. WhenI was a kid I was not allowed to go out and play until my chores were done. I think Obama needs to be grounded until some more work gets done. I propose a good old fashioned grounding, no dessert after dinner, and take away his Xbox.

Note to the president: NONE of us care who your final four are. People are out of work, without health insurance, getting kicked out of their homes BECAUSE they're out of work, and so forth... forget about Jay Leno and the Memphis Tigers and focus on the job you were elected to do, kthxbai.

Note to everyone else in the US: who cares about his stupid special olympics joke? Now granted, yes, the president of all people should be more tactful, but good lord, there are bigger things to worry about in this country right now, and in life, and I'm quite sure he didn't mean anything deliberately malicious so can all the activist groups and hyper-sensative crybabies put on their big girl panties, put down the picket signs and unclench for a minute?
