Uhm...no. It's not just your ears. I think I can kind of see what she was trying to do, but she just wasn't able to pull it off. Apparently her style is supposed to have some sort of bluesy/jazz-like vibe. This week she just sounded flat.

She's into Bjork bigtime.....but she sings all her songs with that same phrasing....I think she'd do well singing stuff like Colbie Caillet....IMHO.

I know Bjork but I don't know Colbie Caillet.

I will investigate.

I listened to Colbie Caillet on yout ube and stockton is RIGHT!
NO way is Megan a jazz singer - but she probably could sing like Colbie IMO.

Now, if he COMPLETELY changed a Journey song like he did with Ring of Fire, I'd have to hear it a few times to get used to his arrangement, but I'm sure I'd love it. The guy is so freakin' talented, vocal-wise, that it's insane. He's got low, mid, and high tenor and his falsetto is lethal, although he rarely has to use it, just like Steve-Motherfucking-Perry rarely had to use his.
