I like to see Adam's performance as soon as I can, but I can wait to hear the voting results thanks. So no spoilers!:D

Is it my ears or is Megan just SHOUTING her song?

Eww. Didn't like that at all.

Uhm...no. It's not just your ears. I think I can kind of see what she was trying to do, but she just wasn't able to pull it off. Apparently her style is supposed to have some sort of bluesy/jazz-like vibe. This week she just sounded flat.

She's into Bjork bigtime.....but she sings all her songs with that same phrasing....I think she'd do well singing stuff like Colbie Caillet....IMHO.

I know Bjork but I don't know Colbie Caillet.

I will investigate.

Just saw Adam's performance.
I still think he's great. I want him to win.

Danny's on now.
Great voice I think.

I want Adam to win too. If this is a singing competition, he has the best voice IMO. :P

Ignore him, Susie... he's the Dennis Miller of musical references.
I think he makes half of them up, to be honest. :P

Now I have to go and find out who Dennis Miller is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I listened to Colbie Caillet on yout ube and stockton is RIGHT!
NO way is Megan a jazz singer - but she probably could sing like Colbie IMO.
Or maybe she should just not sing at all and become a model.

Best female voice for me, also Alison. I can't believe someone so young has such presence and maturity.
And how she was in the bottom three last week is totally mystifying to me.

Best male voice..........sorry Stockton............but it's ADAM!!!!!!!!!!!! :P

Absolutely. And it's not really even close. If STM can't hear that Adam has the best voice, it's his problem.

hee hee.

I was really surprised that Lil wasn't better.
I really expected her to be brilliant, and I don't think she was.

Bit of a shock, that.

And I don't think Michael should have made it this far.

He should be in the bottom two along with Scott IMO.
Or maybe Megan.

I'm not getting these three at all.

So is it Journey week next week then?

It'd be the only one that I'd watch.

Why?

Simply because most of the people on there could not sing it and I could watch them fail horribly [that, and watch Randy Jackson get pissed].

I personally don't know if he could tackle some of the songs out there, either. Yeah, he has amazing range but I don't think he has enough control.

I don't think they have full bands in AI, just artists.

I wonder how Neal and the boys would take it if Steve Perry was on Idol? Do you think Neal would rejoice for Perry, or do you think it would make him mad that Perry got the spotlight and took credit for the big hits that he sang with Journey?

BTW, I couldn't believe Matt was in the bottom two tonight. I think that blonde with the full-arm tattoo should have been been there instead.

If I'm not mistaken, I think they did this with Queen a couple of seasons ago. :?

Oh, yeah. That's a good question re Journey & SMFP. I wonder how that would work???

Now that you mention it, I think I remember seeing Brian May on there with the drummer. Was Paul Rodgers with them? I can't remember.

Yeah, ... but what if Adam decides to give one of the songs a "new interpretation" ala "Ring of Fire"??

Cut the bullshit lest this turn into another sequence where you look more so like an ass than you usually do, which then ends in you getting pissy and leaving in a huff.

On the "Ring of Fire" performance, he sounded pitchy. To me. As I have pointed out gratuitously.

Okay. Why do you think so?

Because of the reasons we just discussed. He has the range to sing ANY Journey song and the artistry to make any of the songs his own. Now, if he COMPLETELY changed a Journey song like he did with Ring of Fire, I'd have to hear it a few times to get used to his arrangement, but I'm sure I'd love it. The guy is so freakin' talented, vocal-wise, that it's insane. He's got low, mid, and high tenor and his falsetto is lethal, although he rarely has to use it, just like Steve-Motherfucking-Perry rarely had to use his.

That's why.

Just as I had predicted: You didn't address the fact that I thought he was pitchy. In the stead, you focused on RANGE which I did not deny as you can see. PLAINLY.

Relax, sweety. I'm just kidding around. Huff? I've never left at all. Don't get shitty and aggressive, you can't win that fight.

And he didn't sound pitchy to me, and millions of others, which I am pointing out gratuitously. Again, I want to say, "please call me an ass to my face", because I bet you wouldn't, but I digress. This is just an open discussion, with everyone adding their opinions. It's DEFINETELY different than real-world, face to face, reality. Serinity Now, Serinity Now.

Man, pitchy is a matter of opinion. That's why the judges constantly disagree on pitchiness. No one is ALWAYS on pitch, but if Adam Lambert has any problems, it sure as hell isn't with his pitch. Does he oversing sometimes? Maybe. But pitch isn't an issue with him.

We disagree. Let's move on before this gets ugly. Your arrogant, challenging comments already have me irritated, lets not go forward with this.

If that defines "kidding around," it would really be shameful to see your ad hominem. No e-thuggery behind my thesis. You. Are. An. Ass.

Yes, this is an open discussion but random attacks that you suddenly claim as "JOKES ZOMG!!!" sorta ruin it, don't you agree? It is especially so when the jokes are particularly distasteful. I would tell you to cut the bullshit again, but I see that you are pathologically incapable of it.

Edit: My arrogant, challenging comments have not had the favor returned to them, Madsplash. I simply wish for a simple retort, devoid of useless comments such as the one that started this snafu.
