I agree.
Arnel is very close to realizing his full potential and if he continues to progress as he has over the last few months he could really help them recpature some of their fame of yesteryear. If they keep supporting Revelation on the current tour they way they have been it should be double platinum by year's end. That's quite an accomplishment, especially considering that sales have been strong worldwide, also. They're taking their new music to all ends of the earth and I have a feeling it's gonna pay huge dividends with their next release. I expect a simultaneous worldwide release with their next effort so they can maximize sales and limit pirating. If they do it right they could see monstrous sales...relatively speaking.
I disagree.
IMO, he's barely hitting 75% of all that he could do, unless we restrict assessment to covering old Perry songs.
If Neal and Jon ever find the stones to write new material specifically for Arnel's and Deen's strengths,
then we'll see the whole band truly reborn, and Arnel really shine.
Again, major kudos to Arnel for working to improve his performances, and to Neal, Jon, Ross and Deen
for freshening up how they play the classics, live.
