Does it just have to be US people? How about non-US people, if they are known in the US? 'Cause, you know, some of us live in other countries. Like Canada ;) :lol: :lol:
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

Yeah it is... a guy I worked with once wanted to start an office dead pool once and no one wanted to do it.
My belief in karma doesn't allow me to get in on stuff like this.

And I didn't know Johnny Unitas wasn't alive. :shock:

The Dead Pool was the worst possible insult to the Dirty Harry franchise.
I was hoping Gran Torino would be a Callahan movie, and maybe redeem the series,
but... *sigh*...

As for starting a real 'Dead Pool'...that's kinda creepy. :lol:

And 3/4s of these SP threads aren't? I'll retract the thread. Carry on espousing on whether Steve will, or won't release an album - Racks - and whether or not foreigners deserve to be fronting Journey...I'll participate when there is something worth responding to here.... :roll:

How about this? Pick one person to die in the next 30 days. If they do meet their demise, than you have to creatively off yourself within the next 30 days also.
That would definitely be more entertaining than any thread pertaining to Journey or Steve Perry, so go ahead and get started.

Ciao

I used to be into this stuff, I first went to Deathlist.net as a young 13 year old internet user. Every year they draw up 50 people expected to die, and discuss each pick at length in their online forum.

I'm scarred for life! :lol:

Some people are bugged by this kind of thing and some aren't, I guess. No big deal.

My sister plays in this one:

http://deadpool.rotten.com/

I only look at it because it shows all the recent passings and sometimes I don't hear about them.

Every year, a few friends and I start up a dead pool...and I *always* put the following people in (and anyone else that comes to mind. Currently, Juaquin Phoenix and Lindsay Lohan are on the list as well):

* Eddie Van Halen
* Kieth Richards
* Manuel Uribe

I started to rethink this last year, as EVH and Kieth will likely have to get rid of the preserving alcohol in their blood before they kick...and that could take centuries.

I'm still betting on Manuel to go...however, if that happens, it would be a tragedy, as it looks like he's really turned his life around...

Hmm. Good choice. I might reconsider this, if it can be a list of people I have no use for. :lol: She's one of them.

I can't find the picture now, but I saw one of her that was from around 2000 or so. She was absolutely beautiful then. Now I wouldn't even screw her with a steel-belted radial condom.

I, for one, firmly believe that when the great Keith Richards passes on, the inevitable autopsy will prove either horrifying to the examiner or beneficial for the rest of mankind.

With so many chemical reactions going on in that man's body for the past sixty years, you never know if the cure for cancer rests, quite literally, within Keith Richards' wrinkly, old ass.
'Nothing was bigger for Journey than 1981’s “Escape” album. “I have to attribute that to Jonathan coming in and joining the writing team,” Steve Perry (Feb 2012).'

Suddenly I'm struck by the image of the Tootsie Pop Owl.
Just what is at the center of Keith Richards and what is it going to take to get there.

The world may never know.

So, what you're saying is... you volunteer to lick Keith Richards to find out? :lol: :lol: :lol:
